I've been using magisk 19.0 for the last 3 days and it hasn't removed itself yet
I created latest graphics drivers for havoc rom..
Also updated it to version 2 , if you read thread you know about it..
Also created the echo fix , which helps increase audio quality too..

As per the TWRP website. 3.3 is available for max 2. I don't see any reason why it won't work. Ensure that you select based on device. This link allows you to select your device https://twrp.me/Devices/Xiaomi/
Edit: I stand corrected. The TWRP version must be treble and device compatible for it to function correctly.

You should only use treble supported twrp recovery for pie roms

I have lost root access to my max 2. I have tried various "fixes" to no avail. I keep reading that I first need to flash the latest
MIUI ROM and then the Havoc-OC etc. is that correct? Can anyone list out the steps or point me to a thread on accomplishing this task? I want to ensure I get the steps right in the first go. Thanks in advance.
