I gave it a go, and although I can see the attraction, it's far too "busy" for me. I guess I'm just too used to Aosp based Roms like Oxygen/CM7. I think this Rom is comparible to Miui in the fact that you either love it or hate it.
The Rom is very smooth, with little lag, and performance was very good. Calls and data were also fine on DHD. Although not to my liking, i'm glad that I tried it, and have to say thanks to the Dev for bringing something fresh for us to use.

Many thanks and good luck.

Regards

Yes.. quite smooth but as you have said, "busy" and "crowded" for me too.

But good to see new ROMs in DHD forums

I don't know if it's just me or what, but somehow I simply don't like it. When I flashed it booted into Chinese, so I had to press press everything before I got to change the language to English, and even then, most of the things were still in Chinese.
Weather wouldn't even find my city. It doesn't have as much themes as MIUI for example so even though it has a good potential of being highly customizable, it actually isn't. I did mess around with it for about 30 mins and I did enjoy the app drawer (coming from MIUI it's refreshing lol), and all the scroll and other effects you can set up. Home screen pinch effect is great.

Idk, I guess I just got used to MIUI/Sense too much to be able to change..

Function wise, this is a very good and stable ROM. I have yet to find an actual issue. Would recommend to everyone that has time and is willing to tamper with it. It is fun,, I just don't see me getting used to it. Good luck.

don't use MIUI to comparing it , MIUI has aprox. 80 weeks old , and this little baby only has less than 10 weeks old ! if you give it 80 weeks to grow up , it wouldn't be any less than MIUI.

this is just like you are asking a 10 years old child to fight with a man of 30 years old.

weather widget doesn't have global support yet.

default boot into chinese , but i am sure you can recognize the setting with icons!

I am not comparing it to MIUI, I'm just saying I got used to it and I don't think I have the time right now to start getting used to another ROM. That's all. The ROM it self is good, as I said in my previous post.

Jz read the thread from the offical website of this dianxin OS, well, it looked fascinating from the screenshot, and perhaps, i will gonna have a backup on my ics rom and have a test on it, perhaps this would be a successor for MIUI? as the the recent Miui is jz stucked at 2.3 and nothing more to be improvised...

I dislike MIUI mostly because the icons look like a 3rd grader colored them. I actually like this ROM and will try it for a while. I tried the ICS theme and it isn't bad... and the camera works, lol.

anyway, for those willing to try it, it works quite well and smooth. the only issue I found was when trying to scroll within Android Pro Widget... it would try to move the widget instead of scrolling in it.

Just flashed, seems nice (just like MiUi) but have not had too much of a play as at work..

Very smooth, some very nice apps included.

Which I wonder, can the apps be backed up and installed to work with MiUi eg, the Battery Booster App, Browser, DX Clock etc.. Has anyone tried this yet? I guess it wont work due to different framework etc....? If it is based on CM7 stuff (wich I think MiUi is too) should it be possible to work?

Not sure whether to keep it at the moment, there is just too much Chinese/Japanese for it to be useful..

Cheers

That's a rather a silly thing to say about a ROM where any part can be easily themed in any way you like!
