Just flashed, seems nice (just like MiUi) but have not had too much of a play as at work..

Very smooth, some very nice apps included.

Which I wonder, can the apps be backed up and installed to work with MiUi eg, the Battery Booster App, Browser, DX Clock etc.. Has anyone tried this yet? I guess it wont work due to different framework etc....? If it is based on CM7 stuff (wich I think MiUi is too) should it be possible to work?

Not sure whether to keep it at the moment, there is just too much Chinese/Japanese for it to be useful..

Cheers
well , could you please point out where/what part is untranslated so it be can translated ?

better yet, why don't you attach a screenshot :p

Yeah, sorry wont be able to help much now..

I flashed through Fastboot a newer radio and could not get a signal at all (no access to SIM) so have had to go back to MiUi backup which works with the radio..

On DianXin , within the web Browser very little is in English eg, all the bookmarks and some buttons on the keyboard too. Sorry, cant remember much else, not enough time spent on it.

I really liked several of the apps though, gonna see if they work on MiUi.

Will keep an eye on this Rom to see how it progresses.

Cheers

I'm curious what the copyright laws are in China. This OS has been released on 8 devices in China and much of the apps are almost identical to MIUI. When Android was released it was the same idea as iOS but much of the OS was different.

Anyway, the launcher and battery booster app in the OS is actually in the market....they are called DxHome and Dx Battery Booster

Yeah, well, I am curious too about something, do we use same MIUI?

I don't feel much how it identical to MIUI or just we have different definition about this word?

By you logic, how about Microsoft windows and some Linux X windows like GNOME, KDE , LXDE, etc,,, they are pretty much identical to me in interface

Windows, OSX, GNOME, KDE.....they are different in a lot of ways. Maybe I should have used the word "similar", maybe "identical" is too strict in definition. The styling ques, the launcher, the backup integration....all very "similar" to MIUI. Never said it was a bad thing I love MIUI. I made the statement out of curiousity, and it made me wonder if it there may be some copyright war in China much like American companies do here.

Fairly certain it's not the kernel it's the rom, try flashing inspiremod

Sent from my SGH-I777 using XDA App
I can confirm that, on the inspire side, TalonAce 1.13, and LordModUE 8.6-Inspire DON'T work for sound. Just putting that out there.
I have sound on my Inspire by flashing the old LordMod 8.0 CFS kernel for MIUI. The sound was a bit tinny so I then flashed the cm7 audio fix to clean it up. It's working just fine now. I'll link you guys to both the kernel and the sound fix.

about softbank mms , you have to try it yourself , i dond't know

if you wanna translate it to japanese , i can teach you how to de/recompile the APK and edit string.xml files which is language file

but you sure ? there over 70 apk files you have to translate

i suggest you download some other CM7 based ROM and directly copy some of translated part and then check for untranslated part.;)
