I am having problems with FC on the AOSP+ tweaks. I followed the install instructions on the OP exactly and did a clean install. When I open the AOSP+ tweaks, then click on either the status bar widgets or the screen backlight controls, it exits with an exception. Here is what the logcat says:

Yeah...thats because what is calling has been renamed and the other tweaks such as BLN, CPU Speed and Voltage are being moved to the settings package...

Ebay works for me.

Apps stay in my launcher bar.

Have not tried kik messenger, is it compatible with ICS?

- Thing about EBAY is that it doesn't go into the listing. Yes it works signing in and out, but if you want to Watch or Bid an auction, it won't work

- I just dragged 4 more apps onto the launcher bar. Only 3 (again) stayed after a reboot

- I'm carefully monitoring a thread from another board who's having problem with Kik on ICS. I'm going to try using flashing BLN so at least it'll notify me if I have something coming in

AndroidUser, could you create a flashable ZIP for the remapping the search key to Recent Apps?

I spoke with the creator of the mod and he replied with this:

sorry but i can't make mod for your rom because he doesn't release his source code..
and he was interested this mod too(link). so i think this mod or similar thing will be added to his rom later.

HOWTO is here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1450138

Thanks for the great ROM! Just trying to make this the best it can be.

You can uninstall it...the new settings package has some of the functions built in and will be released in the next couple of days.

Sweet. It will definitely be cleaner with everything wrapped up in the settings menu. Other than the unfinished parts, everything else has been flying for me with V3. I installed it 3 different times before I decided to hook up the debugging console to it to see if another app was causing problems with it. The only other thing is I'm having to retrain myself to swipe down to unlock after swiping right for the last three years, but it is worth it for the lock screen shortcuts.

Android user, thanks for the great ROM. You keep adding stuff I didn't realize I needed until you gave it to us!

One last thing I would like is 180° rotation. Then it will be everything I think I need!

Need some help with what kernel I should flash with this ROM.

Going to flash v3.0.3 soon but I have no idea what Kernel to choose.

I'm looking for a stable kernel that balances battery with performance.

Maybe Matr1x or speedy?

Thanks in advance...

Why not stick with the stock kernel? It's pretty good. I was previously on speedy5 but now i'm gonna test stock one for awhile

hey android user I know u took off the 30 step volume feature but the thing is the default volume rocker option feels a little bugged . Like fore ex when increasing volume sometimes I won't hear the beep and I would need to press the rocker twice to get to a step

Market is working fine here and others have not reported the problem.

Did you use the latest GApps?

    2) wipe cache <main>

    2.2 will be posted tomorrow.

    Changes thus far:
AOSP+ Tweaks returns. Built on NSTools and will no longer cause market conflicts.
Might be lots of new tweaks with it but if not release than a patch release shortly after.
Clean up of lots of code.
Might have fixed the screen dim issue
more that I can not think of now from being burnt :)

    Hi Everyone,
I am going to suggest a full wipe before flash unless it is a patch or state otherwise. I always do a full wipe before a flash and do not have any of the problems that have been reported.

The status bar settings are not complete yet so some stuff may not work. I will be removing a few items since they are redundant and even though I am adding to ROM I still want to keep it to the minimum.

I basically want this to be a stock ROM with a few enhancements and I think we are getting there.

So far for the next version I have fixed the status bar widgets so the indicator bar is showing again and working the AOSP+ Tweaks version of NSTools. The new version will not conflict with market version of NSTools and in fact AOSP+ Tweaks will be in the market so you can get your updates from there. Cleaned up some code and now trying to get the dim "bug" fixed.

I have some backend work to do, add more custom settings to AOSP+ Tweaks and try to get the dim issue fixed.

Look for a ROM much later today or tomorrow.

I am back in the lab.
    7
Please add some additional widget in notification bar... 4 are really less.. how about 2 more?

Sent from my Nexus S using xda premium

I am building options to add/remove widgets in notification bar.

I guess some gapps were not included this time?

I noticed at first that Voice search was not into the Google search bar.

I forgot to add it back in, I fixed it up so app icon shows in app draw

/system/lib/soundfx/* are different between CM and AOSP

    Fixed. Thanks!!!

Christmas Eve or Christmas ROM will be up today or tomorrow.

Rebuilding settings app for custom settings and fixing up some very minor bugs.

    Thanks to all!

Enjoy the screenshots while I get some sleep and then head back to finish this off.

I will get this ROM working for GNex today...thanks for help!
