I have installed Havoc OS 4.2 so far everything seems to be working except camera. Stock camera app crashing when I click on video open.

Is there any way to fix this?

No way to fix it, but if you hold the camera shutter button on 'camera' it will record. similar to snapchat, insta etc

Having a little trouble flashing 4.2 on guacamole.. followed the installation notes, but when I try to boot to recovery after flashing the ROM, I get a black screen and I cant seem to get to the bootloader.

You can stay here and do everything in twrp as normal once you go back to 10 and get 10 twrp and use 10 twrp as normal on any os11 base rom as long as you use the latest dm verity force encryption zip but if you just want to go back and then yes and yes to my previous comment

I dont use gapps, but feel the same way other than that.. I'm even on 3.11..
All I'd like is the android security updates available OTA and I'd never change the ROM on this phone again.

you must install twrp on stock android 10 first and then update to 11 before installing havoc or else twrp will break. you need the havoc os zip, the android 11 update zip, magisk 22 zip, twrp installer zip, and dm vertity zip. https://www.droidwin.com/update-oneplus-to-android-11-oxygenos-11-via-twrp-without-losing-root/

This will delete all data. YOU MIGHT NOT BE ABLE TO GO BACK TO ANDROID 10 IF YOU UPDATE. At least I can't.

I discovered that when flashing havoc os you MUST flash twrp installer at the same time or else it will brick recovery. Also, after updating to android 11 once, any android 10 factory image I flash won't boot.

You gotta go to https://havoc-os.com/device#guacamole and download the one with gapps.

Make sure you're on STOCK android 10 with twrp installed. Go to twrp and format data. transfer all the zips to the phone. Flash the android 11 update zip from that article as well as twrp installer at the same time. I rebooted to recovery and flashed them again so they're on both boot A and B.

Then I flashed the havoc os zip with twrp, rebooted recovery and flashed both again. then I flashed magisk and dm vertity, rebooted recovery and flashed those two again. I deleted darvic for good measure and rebooted system.

This is after 15 hours of trial and error so I'm not 100% sure these are the exact steps. if it soft bricks reinstall android 10 and install twrp and try again in some other order. but DONT system boot on android 10.
