GL notecore kernel

Changelog
v3
- Fixed FM radio
- Switched to NOOP
- Switched to SLUB
- Fixed Data corruption
- IO increased
- CPU higher throughput
- Built from Scratch
- Full 4.0.4 ICS TW rom support (everything, inc. bluetooth should work)
- Fixed init.d support
- Custom bootanimation support
- Updated SU and Superuser
- Modem LR1 included in CWM zip packages

Hopefully someone can give it a test and report back. It seems alba 4.0.4 rom without any blutooth prob with this kernel.

I flashed like OP,
first Abyss Redpill - wipe data, cache und dalvik
flashed Rom - reboot
everything went fine :D

restored my apps with TB inkl. Data, also all ok

flashed the Mod Package 1 without a wipe, and what should I say, all great

Rom is very smooth and very fast

so thanks for a great work :good:

p.s. waiting for a good Theme, I can´t see the green and blue for ICS anymore :crying:

This is well received. Is a cool fast simple stock ROM, which really works well and looks good on my phone.

Thanks for all your hard fast work on this.

Hi, I'm looking for a CWM flashable LRG as close to stock as possible, what should I do to install the ROM without any tweaks and mods?

Thanks in advance

so, after a few hours of playing around,
I can say it´s a really great Rom :D

everything I tried work without any issues and FC :good:

battery seems good after the short distance of playing around

the 15 toggle bar works also fine :good:
only I miss the extra buttuns like lock, recent apps and search, but maybe sometime later ;)

but what I really miss is a good theme for a good Rom
hope the next days (maybe hours) for a update :fingers-crossed:

all in all I´m really enthusiastic :cyclops:

Edit: run AnTuTu - 6831 fyi only

with all respect, i don't think that such minor changes can be called custom roms as they barley are different from stock roms, i think a custom rom should offer major noticeable changes than a stock rom

like incorporating things that give a wow factor
Everybody is entitled to have a opinion and mine is that yours doesn't make any sense..

grgciocl fully deodexed/zipaligned/rooted the rom so you won't have to. And that's already nice.

Furthermore he added integrated call rec, init-d scripts and many more iterations..
Iunderstand that integrated sip is coming and much more stuff

What the heck you mean with wow factor?
If the stock rom is already that fast and responsive as is (so I heard), Then sometimes less is more.

By the way, way to go grgciocl...
Congrats.. :good:

I wish I could flash it no wipe, over Criskelo"s.. ;)

i am rebooting now, let me see whether it works, or not else, i will flash speedmod..let you know in a minute

Edit: i can access the SD card now...may be couple of reboots required! I will update in OP with few other mods now!

A custom ROM is one that has undergone any modification from being a pure distribution of Android. Google make the Android source code available for anyone to play around with, and people take this code and alter it for themselves. Whether to add features they come up with, or to redistribute it with fun tweaks and additions. So a custom ROM can range in definition from some custom code modifications to make Android run better on a device, all the way to changing the homescreen, background services, and default software.
