Hey all! I have been working hard on my apartment there last few weeks. Little time to develop :( I will probably release a jelly bean version of gederom once more features are ported to cm10 and I have some more spare time :)

Thanks for your hard work. I won't go to any other ROM; I'll patiently wait for yours. Hope to see it soon :cowboy:.

Gedemis, so you won't be improving this ROM any longer, and will now go after JB?
I managed to get OTG working with a powered USB HUB.
I plugged mouse/keyboard and pen drive, working great.
But it only worked on FAT, exFat and NTFS didn't.

Well just once i think i got the charging icon, when i plugged the KF into pc USB.
Here's the screenshot:

I've tried the jellybean roms, and keep going back to this one its really fast, and have had no application incompatibility issues..especially since flash is not going to be supported on jb, I might be sticking with ics, and this Rom. I hope you continue to support this Rom!

I'm using the latest release of the gedeROM. In an earlier release, the youtube app used to show up in tablet view. But now its showing up for me in mobile view, I have tried to make changes to the build.prop (GT-P1000) and have also tried a modded youtube apk from here: http://xdaforums.com/showthread.php?t=1529715 . I'm now thinking that its something to do with LCD Density?
Anybody else facing this problem? Its not really that big a deal but I was just so used to the Tablet view :D

KF won't respond

Guys i need help.
All of a sudden, my KF doesn't work anymore.
It was working ok.
Then i put it inside one of those cheap leather covers, bought from dealextreme.
It still worked fine.
Then i let it on, and keep on working.
When i tried to turn the screen back on, it didn't respond.
I tried plugging to USB and wall socket, still no go.

Maybe the battery ran out of power?

Leave it on the oem wall charger for a while it should boot back up, how is this gederom related? Lol May have better luck in a q&a thread

This ROM just got me through a three day power outage. Amazing battery consumption. I love you.

Still my favorite ROM. I'd still love to see what you'd do with other thing, though. Jelly bean, for example.

Edit: I forgot to mention that I do have one issue with this rom. Tons of themes give me the improperly compiled business even after applying system and restarting. The only way I've been able to combat this is by applying Mixer ICS tablet edition and then the theme I want!

To apply the themes there is a trick I use.
Download DPI Changer Utility app from the market.
Change the DPI to 240 and reboot.
Apply the theme of choice (keep in mind your nav buttons all soutta wack in this resolution but we still can use the power menu.)
Open up DPI Changer Utility again (Hold Power Button to go home) and change DPI back to 160.
Reboot and enjoy ya new theme.

Its the Kernel that have the issue and not the Rom. All Ice Cream Sandwhich and Jelly Bean roms use the Hascode 3.0 Kernel as a base. Audio is a little jacked up. DSP Manager and other system based equalizers don't work either.

    16-6-2012
    Bugfix patch
    - Rebuilt kernel using the newest CodeSourcery Toolchain. Included sbradymobile's touch event filter. (Should help reduce the touchscreen eagerness a bit)
    - Now running Ondemand governor as default again.
    - Compiled thumb as -Os. This fixes MXplayer (Netflix is still broken :()
    - All ARM libraries are compiled as -O3. Performance should be the same as 1.6, if not a bit better!
    - Added top swipe functionality. Go to Settings->System->Swipe Action to set it up. Currently supports "show/hide statusbar", "back button", "home button", "QuickSettings" and "none".
    - Added an option in Settings->System for turning on/off the CRT lockscreen animation(Checkbox is a bit inconsistent, just click it until it works).

    Bugfix patch
    - Fixed graphic glitches introduced in the last build. (This will need testing, but I hope everything is back to normal!)
    - Removed camera from default landscape lockscreen.
    - Added BoostedAss2 governor. (Suggested by aaricchavez)
The new governor should be a more powersaving version of the Smartass2 governor.

(Note that I still recommend Ondemand as your default governor. It currently features the best dualcore control and deepsleeps well.)

    27-5-2012
    Bugfix patch

    - ADB should be fixed once and for all.

Edit: Volume has been fixed. Now loud err than before!

Updated wlan-libraries. This *should* improve general stability of the wifi.

    Other governors for testing:
    Smartass V2
    InteractiveX
    For more info, see http://xdaforums.com/showpost.php?p=25619678&postcount=378

New custom circular battery icon! Can be selected by going to settings->system->status bar-> battery status style. Nothing changed about the normal icons.

New build.prop tweaks: Disguises the tablet as a Galaxy Nexus when browsing for apps. This should allow for new games to run on the KF. (Tested on Dungeon Hunter 3 and Asphalt 6 HD)

Removed the custom Play Store - was causing too many problems.
Changed default launcher to Apex - Same simple design, but with loads of customization available!
Included LiveWallpapers and Email apps by popular demand, if you are missing any of the other apps that I have removed, download the "removedapps.zip" and install it.
