Your problem is in bold.
You can't wipe everything after installing a ROM.

i first tried normal way, not working, then tried wipe everything, still not working. And wiping after installing a rom doesnt affect it, i know how to flash stuff even though my stats say im noob.

I was with CM 7.2 (old baseband), i rebooted in recovery, wiped all, installed the .zip for old baseband.
When i booted my phone, i was blocked on the red LG logo...

Any idea ? Have I missed a step ?

What are you wiping after installing the ROM?
You can't wipe Data nor System.

so i guess i wasnt the only one... same happened to me too, i guess we go back to cm. 1 question does your rom have the gps toogle bug as well?
@MaKTaiL well of course there isnt anything to wipe, that was my point, unless there was something that remained there before installing the rom.

Let's sum up !

From Cyanogen 7.2
-> installed
-> blocked on the red lg logo

From Oxygen 1.1
-> installed
-> black boot (no animation)
-> whathever i'm doing, i have blackscreen (black pixels)

From Oxygen 2.0b
-> works great

Works fine from a fresh flash of Oxygen 2.0b . Just had the error with the music app.

->smooth (a lot) but not as Cyanogen 7.2

->Quadrant advanced:
Look a the bottom.
2D pretty bad
3D pretty good

->Slider bar ugly (in my opinion)
Diy you do it with uot kitchen ?

Battery widgets looks bad...
White lines :s

->bug with radio buttons (check my screenshots )

-> nice transitions effect

I had the same issues like the other users coming from 2.0a after factory reset and wipe. Every time I tried to boot it switched from LG logo to recovery modus. Then I did a clean install of 2.0b, booted once and then flashed Nitrogen over it. Finally i deleted the music app with root explorer.

EDIT: Droidwall buttons bug (maybe the same like KeitlG´s radio button bug)

Dont use UOT much, use APKManager and learn how to optimized pngs and edit xmls, cuz using UOT is not solving some parts...
