I understand, I'm just confounded.Yeah I'm still unable to reproduce the problem
My phones on T-Mobile and I have never given out the number and the phone still rings several times a week.

Edit: Found it. I'm a dumbass
Is there any way to switch the function keys? Having the back button at the right is driving me crackers![]()
Anyone else have a problem whitelisting apps from doze/battery optimizations..? Or is that a 'feature' of emui?

That's handled by the Phone Manager app. Is it in this ROM or maybe debloated Huawei app?

Pull down from the top / shortcutsSo just flashed the ROM. No issues there.
But....is there any reason "mobile network" settings we're removed?....I have no data now, and there's no way to edit my APN settings...
Thank you very much. Perfect. While I've got ya, is there a way to separate the ring and notification volume? Xposed perhaps?Pull down from the top / shortcuts
Find mobile data icon
Long hold, it will take you to the settings
OK this is no doubt a noob question and I feel like a douche for having to ask. I've been using the ROM a couple of weeks and so far it's awesome. However, after unlocking my bootloader, every time I reboot I get this obnoxious message about how the phone can't be trusted and then I have to hit the power button to continue. Is there any way to re-lock the bootloader, or otherwise get rid of this message?
Thanks!
Thank you so much! Worked like a charm! Even disabling everything I could in the phone manager app, I'm getting much better performance and battery life. Seems like it's not a great idea to remove an instrinic system app, just because it carries the manufacturer's name..I think you are talking about Phone Manager, "HwSystemManager".
I posted about it here.
..snip..
I love this ROM, however there's one huge problem for me... I use VoIP, which means Google Voice for texts and Skype/Hangouts for calls.
None of which seem to be "ignoring battery optimizations", and the battery optimization settings don't work. Neither from the battery optimization setting page, or by going into "Apps", selecting the app, then clicking battery optimizations (does nothing).
So for Voice, I have to manually refresh my texts to receive them, and Skype/Hangouts calls just wont come in at all.
Anyone have a workaround for this?
I also noticed the Youtube Music app is "incompatible" with my device, which I use heavily, but I can probably figure that out myself. Does anyone know how to get this ROM to allow Google Voice/Hangouts/Skype to run in the background??
Edit: Email works just fine, it seems. So I at least get an email if I miss a call, however I can't receive them at all. And my plan has no minutes so I can't use the native dialer.
It worked!! Thank you!!See post 45-47. Not sure if you installed that Phone Manager apk or not. I get Google Voice and Hangouts notifications with my stock root debloated Xposed XT.
It worked!! Thank you!!
Thank goodness I've been playing around with linux for a while now so I kinda knew what I was doing with mv and chmod ha
Exactly! HahaThank me and others who help you by hitting the thanks button - thumbs up icon. Glad it fixed the problem. Too much debloating has consequences.
