I'm pretty sure having a feature accessible via a button is not just about being lazy. By your reasoning, long pressing on the settings button to get to the running tasks is also lazy since you can do that through the access of a few menus. It would also be lazy to press on the settings button on the home screen to get to the personalization menu, wallpaper settings, Quick Settings, Settings, and many other shortcut keys.

I think we can agree that these phones have been designed with the "lazy" phone user in mind, myself, yourself and pretty much everyone else using a smartphone included.

]Not sure if anybody else is experiencing this or not, but can anyone explain to me what it means when links wont open for me when I Google something, or click on links in text messages including the ones in my twitter app, to be specific when I click on the app it says "there's no program to open this url"

try going to Settings > Apps >(menu)> and select reset app preferences bc it might be a problem with the phone calling the wrong Android intent when u open a link.

Can you expand on how you fixed it please?

I started having this exact same problem tonight and remembered reading your post about it earlier so I came back and see you found a fix. I also flashed omj's mod so has to be same thing.

Just tried this out after using MeanBean since the Evo LTE came out. I like it so far. Hoping that wiping my phone will let me use Google Nav again. Any issues running the kernel from thicklizard?

Loving the rom so far.. One question, I am not able to get htc sync to work.. The program says it cannot recognize my phone because it is locked? Does it just not work with this rom or is there something I need to do? Thanks!

It's not so much of a fix but, I just reflashed the romantic, (wipe cache and dalvic a few times) before hand I was good

I'm going to guess it was due to some drama in the Sense 5 port discussion thread. Circa posts #679-#680.

Well I may have found a bug.

I had been using a Fresh 5.3.1 rom for a while and decided to upgrade to Stock w/ Goodies. I think it was the 3.28 when I started. All was perfect. As I progressed through the updates I got to 3.43 and would sometimes notice a snowy artifact on the screen when waking the phone. (see link below)

I upgraded to 3.44 and the problem became worse. The phone got to the point where I could not get rid of the snowy image. I reverted back to stock, s-on, locked, etc... Fully stock and the problem remained. I assume fully stock. I did not have a nandroid backup so I went through the RUU restore process, relock, etc... Sprint swapped the phone under the assumption that it was just a bad graphics chip.

Now to the replacement phone. Was virgin and updated on the latest OTA. Went through full Rancun s-off process. All well. Installed latest Stock w/ Goodies 3.44 and the snowy screen issue came back. Restored back using nandroid backup and problem gone. Not sure what data to collect to see what is hanging.
