I don't understand installing safe strap . k its on my phone I install it. But how do you install the recovery ? Its a root app and I have no root yet. I've flashed and rooted every phone I've ever had so? Am I supposed just install the app and move on to the next step ( stuck at install recovery ) ? Do I just insall the app then move on the the next step ? Thank you .

READ the instructions word for word and you will use ODIN a couple times to achieve this.

I had problems yesterday. I had my Note 3 replaced under warranty 2 months ago and hadn't bothered to root the new one until now. So I went from JB straight to this rom. I have rooted and flashed at least 500 times and I followed every instruction to the letter and my phone still soft bricked. So I went back to square one and downloaded everything again after getting back to stock jb. This time it worked great So far I'm really happy with this rom.

It sounds like you left out the "togetbooting" Odin portion. OR swapped the "togetbooting" with "togetsafestrap" files/steps by mistake. I did it the first time long ago (didn't finish basically) and it would boot with dark screen but wasn't bricked per se. I restored it back to stock and re-did the entire process and was up and running in an hour.

Problem

I'm having an issue that if an app is playing content(radio) and the phone goes to sleep, if i go back to use the phone it basically becomes unresponsive. I can change the volume but the screen will not come on. Even the menu and back button light come on but I have to reboot the phone to use it. Has anyone seen this?

I have reflashed and wiped several times.

I'm running into an issue where I am unable to use the Google Play Store when I am on data. It works fine on WiFi but when I'm on data it just hangs and won't let me search for anything. I've tried clearing the data and restarting but it always just hangs with the "working" circle in the middle of the screen spinning. Has anyone else run into this issue?
No mine works fine. It might be an isolated case. Are you able to access the Internet?

Do you have problems where sometimes you are using your phone and it goes to sleep out of nowhere and the power and home button are unresponsive for a couple of seconds and than maybe 10 secs later you can hit the power button and it wakes up? Just curious.. If that's what problem you are having cuz I occasionally have that issue here n there

Yep, this time u went all the way back to stock mj5 and flashed. Working well so far, hopefully gets better with time! Saw only 3% drain over 10 hours, so that's a good sign :)

We all know it will get better. Just let the Rom settle in, and you will see just how good you battery life is. @drakeymcmb has the best Rom available for the Note 3, on any carrier. +1

So I try to be patient and help others as best as possible from the first question so they don't do the same. One guy messaged me through FB even and I helped him LOL

I have had to factory reset twice now because when I set a lock screen pin code and lock the screen and then put in the lock code I just set it says incorrect code.

Lol I thought I was the only one who had to do that!! I thought it was because of the TimePIN app I use.
