Try to update busybox with an app like this one https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=stericson.busybox

V4A is integrated in this ROM, but still needs installing its kernel driver. The install dialoge return an error that my busybox version is wrong.
I tried to install a new version with installer apps from play store and changing the ROM version of V4A with the one i got downloaded. The error was there on all...

For me V4A is very important(can't live without it^^), but I like the features of this ROM. Maybe will come up with a idea.

I've faced the same problem with ParanoidAndroid. Tried everything, still no luck Please inform me too if you discover a workaround. :highfive:

As far as I know what I posted before you was the solution for paranoid android.

Here's the high quality driver attached. Try flashing the first one first, it only contains the driver and the addon.d script.
If it doesn't work flash the second one but make a nandroid or backup/copy your audio_effects.conf first, as the one I included is from CM11.

I'll have a look if I can do that, when I have time for that. I don't have much time at the moment.

its very fluid, ono lag at all even when i decrease cpu speed to 1088 to save battery,
good battery life
im using as daily runner
Bug iv noticed
1. sd card wont mount *solved it with multimount sd card apk)
2. wifi hot spot, when used for about 10 min, device auto reboots

I'll have a look if I can do that, when I have time for that. I don't have much time at the moment.

I will make a flashable zip to include v4a drivers, since I like to have the possibility to enable lpa, which is not possible with v4a.
I will implement it, since I just saw it replaces dsb. So no lpa here.

Did you format every partition except sd card, before flashing this rom? I didn't test this rom that much, but sd card mounted fine for me and I think if it would be a bug, there would be more users to experience that.

Regarding hotspot, I don't use that feature so I can't tell if it happens only for you or for everyone.

yes i did formated that way still have same problem anyway it still the best rom so far

That's weird.
Well, I'll most likely fire tomorrow a new build, maybe it fixes it.

for some reason i cannot flash this rom. i get error: Status 0 from 4ext 1.0.0.5 with any rom ive tried except for flashing the stock ICS from one of the guides on here... I have tried redownloading the roms, reformatting the sdcard, still end up with status 0 error. phone is dev unlocked with S-still on....

You need to update recovery to latest version, link below for image if you can't update via app.
If you can't flash it via fast boot either, someone posted a flashable version in the 4ext thread.

Is this rom smoother than official slimkat rom ?, if that so i would like to give it a try.
