This ROM seems good, however I couldn't get the "Quick Panel Settings" working.. It causes FC in the "Settings" app. Everytime. I tried to flash it again, the second time I triple wiped everything including format ot preload, data and system.. Still force closing.

That really bothers since I hate the "sliding" effect of the toggles and I wish I could reduce them (up to 5), so there won't be side sliding anymore. Also, I don't like the grey notification bar. I guess it's always grey on JB, but is there a way to force it black?

Everything else seems pretty good, but that really bothers me :crying:

Hehe,
we are not dead or something like this ;)

I made a new JB Rom for the N8000 and if Samsung released the LS9 we made a Rom for this.
The LS7 is beta and don´t released it here because its not a fully working Rom.
When will ls9 came out..check xda daily..lol..like counting crows....

Why do I have to flash PhilZ kernel first if I come from CM10? I'm on CM10 and I understand that it is recommended you do a format system when you go to another type of kernel. So, when I do: full wipe, format system and dalvik, and then flash this ROM, all should be ok? Or am I missing something? I'm just trying to understand why the extra step is there.

I'm just using it and the new swype Google is really great - although there is potential to improve.

I have two questions:

1 is it possible to have in the notification bar as well something for airplane modus? WiFi is there and some more, but no airplane switcher.
2 I'm curious for the sources the mail apps SecMail and SecExchange (which are included). Where could I find the sources ? And is there hint how to compile them resp use them in the end? Cause i wanna change them a "little" and use it finally. Hints are welcome .as well for compiling.

Thanks for the links rayman, but if you are not allowed to post the links because team union don't want to release Rom in xda...yet. you should remove them mate.

Appreciate your effort all the same.

As I wrote already in the home forum of the Team Union (android-hilfe.de) I installed it in the morning.
With the aroma installer it is possible to remove apps I do not like - so resulting in a nice small Rom.
Some apps can be added in Aroma (like Nova Launcher which I always use).
And the 240 dpi is exactly what I wanted.

For XDA members it is important to say that only English and German are included as languages. Everything else is removed.

For me there is no need right now to update my own Custom Rom (which always will be built when there are new odexed versions). The Team Union Rom has everything I need - and until now I didn't find errors or problems (only my standard problem with IMEI and android.policy.jar).

So I hope my search for a good JB Custom Rom is over. Thanks to Team Union Rom.

AW: [ROM] [31.10.12] Chrack´s JB 4.1.1 XXLS2 DBT Rom v2

At the moment i/we don't release a new Rom on XDA.
Perhaps next time we came back.

The Users here on XDA have changed, and it's sometimes like a childgarden here.

At my german home forum it's like a big Family.
The Users help each other!

Think about it why some devs/cooks left here ;)

Just my 2 cent.

Maybe you'll find someone who would act as a "proxy" in XDA for the new Team Union Rom (translating, moderating, providing separate links, answering questions etc.).

I guess there are still a lot of members here that really want to use the Team Rom but need an english based thread for discussion (even if it really is a kinder garden here).
