Magic+ is just what Rogers calls a Magic with the E911 fix applied.

The original Rogers HTC Magic didn't have HTC Sense. When Rogers added the E911 fix they also included HTC Sense and called it the HTC Magic+.

Been following along. Haven't read the last 100 or so pages of this particular thread, but is Cursor still comitted to doing an update for the magic?

And with the update being delivered OTA and not downloadable can that still be used to create a rom? (That question is the result of my development ignorance lol)

he said he would so lets hope he does, and even if he doesnt we have other devs that will and yes u can use an OTA to make a rom and plus they are releasing a Ruu as well for the update.

That's awesome to hear. I'm using the Smokie 0.7.8 right now to get my 2.1 fix. I really like it, but my wife's phone is on Cursors latest update, and the speed difference between mine and her's is simply amazing. I'm hoping that Cursor can do as great of a job with his 2.1

I don't recall seeing mention of an RUU but I'm guessing your reffering to the in store upgrade that will be made available for people who have a hard time getting it OTA.

guys i having problem with my saphire pvt 32a s -off
hboot 1 76 2007

radio 6 35 08 .29

after rooted my fone and all .. i went to hero recovery mode and flashed the first file CursorSense32A-1.2.4-signed.zip ... after that the phone boots and shows htc and android animation and it keeps showing only this ... then again i flashed the second file CursorSense32A-1.2.6.1-signed.zip .. again the same problem preset ... anyone tell me what wrong i did
.. my phone was htc magic a6161

after upgrading my radio to 6 35 to lastest it boots good ... some nexus animation comes and all ... now i can use the mobile . but anyone can explain me why does it happen .. when i did with two files ?? and any please tell me what does wipe does ??? will erase all the rom data or only user data area ??

with the two rom files the audio didnt work proper but after i flash with all the first two files and appas and all it works .. in the first page i could not know what to flash it first so i was very confused and i am sorry if i was annoying in this thread .. because i am new to this android catogery . so please tell proper guide or setp by step files to flash it

In simple steps:
1. Shut down phone
2. Press Home + Power until entering recovery
3. Backup (optional, but recommended)
4. Wipe
5. Wipe cache
6. Select Flash zip from SD (scroll and pres trackball)
7. Select CursorSense32A-1.2.4 (and press trackball)
8. Will ask for confirmation. Press Home
9. Wait 'till everything installed.
10. Select CursorSense32A-1.2.6.1 (and press trackball)
11. Wait 'till everything installed.
12 Reboot.

I FOUND THE BUG IN SPL 1.76.XXX . BECASUE WHEN I USE THE SPL 1.76.XXX ENG , WHEN POWER MY PHONE ON I CAN SEE THE SMALL LINES RUNNING UP AND DOWN OVER SCREEN( LIKE LINED SCREEN) ... WHEN OFF THE SCREEN ONCE AND ON IT AGAIN THE PROBLEM SOLVED AFTER EVERY BOOT.

BUT IN SPL 1.33.XXXX AND ALL THERE IS NO ISSUE WITH THIS .. WORKS PERFECT ... I TPING THIS JUST FOR THE INFORMATION .

PLZZZZZZZ EXPLAIN .

Aps2sd is a hack to gain space in the data partition of your phone. It is mainly used for MyTouch 3g Magic 32B phones which have much less space than out 32A magics. The only reason to do this on a 32A phone is if you had hundreds and hundreds of apps, otherwise it would only slow down your phone. It has not, to my knowledge, been implemented on CursorSense. There are other tricks to increase the size of your data partition.
