I've been having serious problems with these roms since I started using them a few months ago, hopefully someone can help because they've rendered the phone completely useless and i'll essentially have to go buy a new one now.

The phone does NOT receive calls or texts, unless I restart it.

It's as if the radio shuts its self off and won't connect to the Fido network to retrieve my texts, calls, etc... So people call me, straight to voice me, people send texts, I get nothing. If I restart my phone (or sometimes it will randomly work when I switch the 3G on and off) it will all off a sudden flood my with notifications that I had 3 missed calls and 2 text messages, etc...


What the hell is going on and why is it doing this all the time? This is a serious issue because my phone is completely useless and has been for some time. I didn't realize how serious it was until I started having people complain that they can NEVER get ahold of me, even though my phone is always by my side.

hi, I've been reading but i haven't quite figured it out. I want to put this ROM on my gf's mytouch 3g, but i don't know if i have to root it first with the tutorials. her phone is updated to the android version 2.2.1 and it is the 32b.

i have a short question. i am using your rom and i would really like to remove the 'news and weather' app because i never use it but i keeps starting up. the problem is, i cant find the apk anywhere (tried with root explorer) nor can i remove it via settings->applications.

so my question is, is this app a part of the native clock app (it always say weather information not avaiable when i go to the clock app to set up an alarm)? if not, is it safe to remove (wont crash the clock)?? well, if it is a part of this app, i will just instal some other clock app and remove the native one

yes, you need to root the phone first

Install Titanium Backup and use that for uninstalling.

Thanks for the awesome ROM it is probably the smoothest ROM I have tried so far
However when I power off the phone it reboots... I searched the thread and found other people have this problem but I haven't seen a solution unless I missed it.

Is anyone else having problems with the stock calendar? Mine does not load anymore and the widget simply says "No upcoming calendar events". I also get an error message about calendar not working every now and then (I'll post it next time I see it).

Admittedly, Google has been having troubles with Google Calendar lately so perhaps this has nothing to do with the ROM.
