Full wipe/factory reset. Just flash the rom zip file no Gapps already there and then get the Kernel Boeffla 7.7 and the Apk on play store. If you have any problems after installation like unfortunately stop running. Backup your files and do a Format on your cell just in case any bugs left on, do a clean installment and start from scratch. then flash the ROM zip file.

After I flash the rom first, boot and configure it, then I restart in recovery mode and flash the Boeffla Kernel.

There is a new Kernel out Boeffla 7.9

Have issue with Camera. Closes as soon as i open it. As stated in the previous messages solution would be to install Stock Kernel, take a photo and then flash custom kernel, right?

never mind. Assumed Themes installation caused the Camera issue and did a clean flash again. works fine now.

Device seems to be working fine with out Boeffla kernel. Whats the improvement in it? Does it fix something?

why do u flash boeffla 7.9 ? isnt 7.9 the kernel for 4.4.4 and the rom is JB 4.3 ??? im confused

Which is the best kernel for this ROM?
Do a full factory reset(internal SD and etc..) and reinstall??

Hello. Just installed this and my apps and contacts are not coming back. I checked it on another device and it works fine , so the problem is not the google account. How can i get them on my s3?

im using v3 with some apps in forced dpi 320 cause isnt adjust to the screen and have some lags
but i love this rom

My Galaxy S5 died. Samsung wanted 7,000 baht ($200) to replace the mainboard. I dug out my old faithful S3 and was disappointed with the Omega ROM that was on it. It worked OK but the battery life was poor. I went ahead and downloaded Revolutionary S5 V3. I was surprised that when I installed it, there was no option for a clean wipe. I went ahead and installed it anyways. Installation was quite fast and flawless. The phone works like a champ and battery life is much better than the Omega ROM. This is a great ROM and what apps I wanted, I was able to install from the Google Store.

As far as the S5, I sent it to a repair shop and they have repaired the original mainboard. I don't have it back yet but it is guaranteed for three months. The cost was $85. Time will tell whether the phone holds up or not. With the new ROM in the old S3, I am quite happy with the old phone.

glad this ROM is stillmaking an impact, if only i had an s3 i would still be messing around with it, i was in the process of a custom kernel when i broke my s3, if i ever got one i would bring the s3 back from the dead, by far one of samsungs best releases.

hmm, im had multiple samsung phones and ive never had a failed mainboard
the only way you could possibly destroy it i by bending the charger and shorting it, ot dropping it a few too many times..

After two S4 failures and now the S5 failing, I'm convinced that Samsung quality has gone drastically downhill. I became a Samsung fan because of the excellent S3. I'm using that phone right now tethered to my computer. The S5 was my wife's phone and it was in an expensive Spigen case. According to her the phone has never been dropped. As strange as it may seem to you, three mainboard failures happened and that's enough for me. No more top of the line Samsungs for me.

Well, this is the only ROM that actually worked for me with the phone signal after trying a couple of CM builds and slimkat. IF i backup the EFS from this ROM, will that help me to get it to work with other ROMS? The install method i used was only flashing the main ROM without any of the patches..
