Hmm on old defyfroyosense by dexter htc services works fine.
What about bluetooth? Still buggy like in dexter version?

what are the bugs? only camera doesnt work of does it have any other issues?
did anyone with green lens flash this rom?
EDIT: yes, i did. Green Lens work, just uncheck the widescreen box at the camera settings, just exactly as the DefyFroyoSense from Dexter and iaio. Im shooting pictures with 5Mb resolution. But when i take a picture, the camera app just freezes and i have to exit then start it again. I have something more to say... The flashlight issues remain the same, it just starts out of sync (means that it flashes first then the camera take the picture, with no light) , then it stops working. I have to reboot to have it back. This ROM has exactly the same thing that burns the flashlight. Im reverting to CM7.2 just to be sure that mine IS GONE.
WARNING: THIS ROM CAN BREAK YOUR FLASHLIGHT.
sorry bout that and thanks for your effort 3P!C but this ROM still has a problem that kept it away from mostly all Defy devices. In my own opinion, a trustable port of Sense to Defy has to be started from zero and DefyFroyoSense project cant be a safe base to work in it. That bootonly.sbf has something that makes flashlight go dead.

I hv green lens... if i install this rom, is there a possibility that i may break my flash ?
Also if in case the flash get broken in this rom, wud it start working by itself if i flash the stock sbf again ?

its a post by me over a year old, saying exactly the same bug that i found in your ROM. The flashlight works ony once than you have to reboot to get it working again. This is the first step of having a flashlight broken, and again i say, if you are a developer, you must know about the flashlight problem. Me and many other guys had the flashlight broken trying to use "chinese froyo based" ROMs, witch includes this work started by Dexter.

Maybe for the second. If you try to use flashlight several times using Sense, you may burn it. My opinion is, if your flashlight is out of sync, stop testing it and flash an oficial Froyo sbf. If your flashlight is weak, with a green light, then its gone, its just a matter of time. Stop using it even on official Froyo, or you will loose it. But if your flashlight is ok, strong and white light, you are a lucky guy.

we use to have a sticky about the flashlight going dead, i dunno why mods deleted it. or did they unstick it?

you might know that some Froyo releases from early 2011 damage the flashlight, not to me only but to some other guys, i got mine back by flashing original sbf and sending it back to Motorola. I tried you Sense port. I tried the iaio port too. Both had the same problem and made my flashlight weaker than its original.

I can't use this rom and i do know why!, i flashed indian sbf and then install sense, but it have a lot of laggs and reboots, I'm the only??
I have installed this ROM and things are working fine except CamCoder :-(
I flashed full sbf of indian SEA, then root, 2nd init, recovery.
Restored system+data from 3PIC and then installed kernel zip attached, rebooted. Viola, phone booted with Sense on Defy.
It didnt burn the flash, and it looks fine, flash is working fine while using Camera. The biggest concern for me is the camcoder and is simply force closing if I start recording. Even changing to different resolutions didnt work, also tried LGCamera, but recording failed.
3PIC, can you fix the camcoder for me to keep this as daily rom, or is there any work around, or something went wrong during installation why camcoder is not working.

Sense legacy 0.2 is from desire z. This is the original port whit some apps and theams add or remove(baseband switch it is gone)

When you see a Sense ROM coming out of nothing and claiming it's fixed,then you can be sure it's Hemil fooling around again!! I would never flash that ROM....

Guys dont discourage developers, if you want to flash, do it ! otherwise just leave it, why do you want play with devs. If he is not really, then time will tell, but if he is true then its all good for our phones.
I have installed this ROM and everything is fine except the camcoder and he has already told that he will be fixing it soon.
