With all the tweaks, exceptional battery usage and OTA updates, Syberia Project ROM is by far the best ROM for Redmi 3S of everything I have tested so far for this device. From my point of view it is almost perfect ROM. Because I am living in a country where listening to phones is a "national sport" of our authorities (attached analysis), I use SnoopSnitch app to know when all this happens. In order for this application to work, outside the root, the kernel needs to have the DIAG_CHAR device driver enabled and the / dev / diag character device must be present. I found this driver under drivers / char / diag / only in the last ROM developed by xiaomi.eu team (xiaomi.eu_multi_HM3SHM3X_V10.1.1.0.MALCNFI_v10-6.0). In Syberia Project ROM when running command "$ ls -l / dev / diag" I get something like "crw-rw ---- system vendor_qti_diag 244, 0 1970-12-09 06:19 / dev / diag" instead of "crw-rw ---- system qcom_diag 244, ....". (attached printscreen). Is there any possibility that this driver to be included in the future Syberia Project ROM? ... or a patch that introduces this driver via TWRP?

hi @weritos, smart charging doesn't work. it seems path /sys/class/power_supply/battery/input_suspend doesn't exist.

Geeting frequent System not responding alert dialog from past couple of builds. Haven't tried the latest build. Anyone else having this issue?

Update your system to the last build (25.05.2019) and the problem will disappear.

I am facing an issue after flashing this ROM. The flashing process was uneventful, but when I booted into the ROM, I got an error message saying 'Process system is not responding'. Along with this, the phone couldn't connect to mobile data even though mobile data was shown to be switched on. I really like the UI of the ROM and want to switch from havoc is from the same Dev. Can someone help me with a solution?

I was having the same issue with Havoc...even went to change my Sim Card...with not effect. What solves the problem for me was to try my Sim Card in another phone, wait a few minutes and receive a SMS from my cellphone company to configure internet access...follow the steps (even if its not in my redmi 3S), then put the Sim Card in my 3S and everything went normal. I hope this will help you.

Are you using the latest build? Did you set the preferred sim for data correctly? After the initial setup you need to manually select the preferred sim for data else data will not work this happens only if you insert the sim after the setup process

That's when I found out that the APN for my sim wasn't created automatically due to which the phone could not access data. I am not a pro at these things so I don't know why this happened to me and why it happened only in this ROM. But I added the APN for my sim and it worked. Can you tell me which version you're using? I flashed the latest version (12/05) through magisk and it stil doesn't work. The issue is of force closing.

I am using the 12/05 with latest syberia and never experience Force close issue whatsoever. You can delete the module reboot and try flashing it again. Btw does Dolby app crashes? make sure the storage permission is granted.

Storage permission is granted. And it still force closes after reflashing. Thanks for the replies. I ll see if I can find any other Dolby mods.

Well if you can take logs that would certainly help. I have used this mod in various other roms and in Syberia as well for over 2-3 months and haven't noticed a single Force close there must be sonething under the hood that is clashing with the mod.Post your issue to the dolby forum may be theres a fix.
