Yeah I've moved on too but I still check in from time to time. I'll try out the update for sure. In the meantime it jellybro for me.

in no way is this a complaint, I'm getting solid battery life from this ROM, and I'm very good at controlling it based on what I have on and off

that being said, when I had my s2 and I turned everything off, services and such, I could let the phone sit as I slept and wake up 8 hours later to only 1-3 percent better drain. the 10% in 6 hours isnt necessarily bad, but id like to see if i can get it lower.

has anyone been able to get that from this ROM? this is after a fresh wipe and reinstall, and with all location services off, including Google now

Did you turn data off? I'm making that assumption based on the lack of a H or 3G symbol on the status bar. If the awesome battery life you're claiming is due to making a smartphone essentially a 2g device, I'd say it wouldn't be worth the trouble.

I appreciate the response but you may have misread what I was saying

this was in reference to me leaving it unplugged overnight with everything turned off, especially data.

as I've seen before with my previous phone, leaving it untouched overnight would see, quite literally, 1 percent drained, so I was asking if the minor 10% I see here was normal to this community, or if I could get it even lower

Can anybody confirm that groove ip after the aug 1 update is still working with jelly belly? because mine started force closing 100% of the time or no outgoing voice. I've emailed the developer of groove ip no response yet.

When using stock jelly bean, I get the message that "Messaging is sending a large number of sms messages, allow or deny." Can I disable that security feature with this rom? I attached a screenshot of the error. This error is so annoying!

Actually it was awesome who gave us an ETA....he said update next week, that was over 2 weeks ago. Plus it wouldn't hurt to hear from the dev from time to time so we know whether or not this thread is even still being looked at. Either way though, I am one of the few people left waiting anxiously and still running this rom since day one!!!!

Doesn't matter if the dev is past their estimated date or not. On XDA, you do not ask for ETA's.

The dev's on here do it for love, they don't do it to get paid or recognition (ok, maybe a bit). So if they say they will have an update next week and it's been a week, or two, or a month. Obviously something personal came up, or they ran into some issues with the ROM. Either way, wait patiently for a release instead of bugging the crap out of them and everyone else asking for updates. They will come when they're ready. If you can't wait, there are tons of other ROMs out there that you can give a try.
