Hi guys, im not develop this rom, im just sharing for you all

Codename Android is a rom that focuses on speed, usability, and getting every feature that I can get CRAMMED in there. This rom will include features from all over (credit given of course). This is simply something I wanted to share that I thought would be fun to put together, and have worked hard on making all of the features play together nicely and organized them in such a way that they would be very easy to use. Codename Android is back and releasing roms again, have fun, flash away.

Side-note: Codename Android is an open source project, but due to the spontaneity of the posting of the rom, full, compilable source will be released on the github within a day or two.

CNA team is no longer exist.
They will no more post or release anything here.
AndroidUser is the only dev who support the rom.
And if i'm not wrong, he is at first a user of RootzWiki so, it's not strange to see is Rom only release on Rootz...

...before flashing you must wipe all...

did it without success...
now I restored JellyBelly - cwm - format system/data/cache 5x - flashed CNA & _thalamus JB Kernel and now it works.
don't know why - had the same problem in ICS during change from CM to AOKP  but this fixed it. :p

edit: restored JellyBelly once again - wipe davlik & cache - flashed CNA & _thalamus JB Kernel - works also - no full wipe needed :)

To my knowledge, androiduser doesn't support the work of cna any longer... and the thread that was posted on root was from codenameandroid himself...

I just want rotation fixed. Simple right?

just so you know, orientation sensor is not working (libakm.so is missing, at least from the last build -27th of jully-)
for those looking for it her it is attached : rename to .so (do not try to unzip) and put it in /vendor/lib (or /system/vendor/lib)

I tried manually pushing the file into the directory, and it worked. Therefore, I am reposting the file that kenshin33 uploaded.

Reason for closing thread on rootzwiki:

"To prevent from being harassed unjustly by the admins of the site I have asked for my ROM to be removed @RootzWiki"

    Also some news:

"Look for 3.2.0 to have all of the changes from JRO03L merged. Update coming very soon. :)"

Why not? Its a feature, so why not use it.

    Sent from my Nexus S

The navbar exists due to the fact that the Galaxy Nexus has no physical hardware buttons. But for the Nexus S, we have the hardware buttons and to have the software buttons, it's a little redundant and a waste of screen real estate. It makes no sense to have the nav bar on any phone with physical buttons.

Is there any thread about it?

This post explains what most are saying about it.

    quote:

What you say is correct about open source but the past problem was he took code from the CM team, gave them no credit, claimed he did not use their code and then proceeded to knock CMs work.

He was actually called out on this by Cyanogen himself and they proved he actually used their code.

So he uses their code, claims he didn't and then talks **** about their work.

Sorry, but anyone who does not have something good to say about CM and what they do for Android you do not even deserve to be an Android user. Whether you use their Rom or not they earned their respect from all of us.

Sure, CNA is now giving credit but there are people that still question his agenda and not everyone is willing to forget and they have that right and CNA will have to live with the bed he made.

Enough people actually seem to be willing to give him another chance so don't understand why he would close his thread.
