[ROM][4.1.1] Stock 10.4.2.18 - Light/Rooted/Odexed V5

This ROM is base on Asus 10.4.2.18 version (US and WW)

I made this rom for my personal use but I want to share it with you

Here's what's changed:

• no visual modification (look like original Asus)
• all bloatware removed (see screenshoot)
• rom is ODEXED (speed up boot and default applications)
• rom is ROOTED and have "init.d" support
• Clemsyn's Elite Kernel at 1.7ghz 650 GPU
• services.jar is SUPERCHARGED
• AGPS patched
• entropy generator loaded at startup
• security policy restrictions removed from Email.apk
• CIFS modules installed (need CIFS manager to use it)
• advanced power menu
• Greenify installed
• some tweaks from NRGZ28
• no more apps in system that can't be download from Playstore so you'll be able to greenify Gapps

Installation:

• your device must have the 4.1 JB bootloader
• TWRP recovery must be installed
• do a full wipe before flashing
• download the ZIP and install it from recovery

Optimization:

• logcat is enable by default, if you don't need it disable it by running command "logact" from terminal or adb shell
• create an additional EXT4 partition on your MicroSD card to increase performance see cache2sd thread

Changelog:

• all Gapps that can be installed from store removed
• Amazon App Store removed
• Google Now (Search) replaced by Cyanogen search box
• Google Music replaced by Omich Player
• Greenify added to system app
• Roboto fonts from Android 4.3
• Auto brightness values changed
• Smart Dimmer (screen) enable with eco profile and disable with normal and balanced
• cache2sd installed
• more tweaks to build.prop for more responsiveness

Downloading now, looking forward to flashing something new. Wookie and NRG, both excellent, I have Nandroids of each. Makes choosing between them difficult.

As for the newer 4.2 ROMS; I'm reluctant to flash (we're fortunate they're available ) until they mature further, and Asus might release their rumoured 4.2 update.

Meanwhile I note there's 11 downloads of your ROM so far, mine makes it 12. Hopefully by the time I report back there'll be 11 other points of view!

Can anyone confirm their stock browser (not chrome) behaves as mine ...won't remember 'Choose default? I continually have to press it as I browse through links. Chrome works fine as do other browsers.

Very good rom! I like it so much!

Just two questions:

- we have an folder named /0/ (zero) in internal storage card... with folder tree like in / ¿?
- OC works just changing asus energy mode? 1000-1400-1700 ?

I don't have any folder like that, it seems to be junk files, if you connot delete it, you should do a sdcard format in recovery
Asus energy mode is controling OC as you thought

I 've just made an update for my ROM

- all google apps update in system partition
- 2 missing odex framework files added
- supersu removed and replaced by the new open source superuser
- more tweaks to build.prop for more responsiveness
- this update will also zipalign all apk, optimize sqlite db, clear dalvik cache and trim all partition
