Deep Sleep

Hi there,

thanks for this beautifull ROM! I love it! I've got a question regarding CPU's deep sleep.. I get no deep sleep at all! 0! None! I've frozen all apps (that was google music play) causing wakelocks. But I still get no (deep) sleep!

Any ideas? Anybody out there issuing the same problem?

Hey buddy,

Can you try latest CM10 (not CM10.1) kernel and check if same issue persists?
I am right now checking with the main developer to get latest build for Chimera. :fingers-crossed:

Sooner we get latest and better sources from CM10 and other AOSP sources.

I hope this project is not dead
because I am looking forward for an update for this awesome rom
and also aokp got some updated futures after chimera was released like wifi name so maybe it could be merged to chimera

Actually I've tried a lot of other kernels (CM 10, Hydracore 7-OC, *some other non-gpl kernel*).. I've experienced only strange reboots. So I'll stick with the kernel build-in. I'm sick of those random reboots...

Perfect Deep Sleep Over here but the with high battery drain compared to other roms
if u r having no deep sleep u can try to install Better Battery states leave the phone unplugged
for a while then observe the battery states so u can identify the wake lock causing this
and about freezing all apps i do not think that's a good idea
freezing google talk for example or uninstalling it causes a lot of weird wake locks which means no deep sleep

No, it's not dead. Nelson will be building next version of Chimera pretty soon.
(Nelson has Chimera source code. He builds. I squash if any bug.)
I will be releasing 4.2.1 based ROM powered with AOKP features and CM base.

If anyone wish to test, it's gonna be up soon...

Hi,

does anyone have noticed any lags when unlocking the phone? Sometimes when I press the home button nothing appears. I have to press the Power AND the home button for a fewer times in order to get the unlocking display.

I've done a fresh install (wiped out everything) but the problem still persists. It would be nice to know if anybody has noticed this as well..

PS: I can't for the new release! for me this is the best JB I've had. Even PA (from Utaka) has some memory leaks. So keep up the good work.

PPS: I'll be glad to test the new version too

Neo himself said that Nelson would make another Chimera update. I know about Stunner, but it has nothing to do with Chimera.

So, the question still stands...

This rom is great and isn't getting enough attention. Only a tiny bug to fix in screen wake up times and its pretty much perfect.

No, it would be perfect. Tough to find flaws with it.

for me it is the update of chimera for one simple reason
4.1.2 is far smoother than 4.2
