Hi.
I have a problem after I installed this rom... my phone battery drop very, very fast.
50%, after 5 min. 20% (image shaking), after 5 min. 4% (image shaking fast) and instantly shut down, dead.

To install the rom i have used this recommendation:
"Load *.zip on your SD/EXT Card
Restart in CWM
Be sure you’re on SAFE KERNEL, then you can wipe
Full wipe /data/factory reset /cache and dalvik
Format /data /system and /preload
Flash the ROM"

...and, my choice, "wipe battery stats". So, please tell me, can this wipe be the problem?

That's weird.
Is your battery old?
I had this problem with my old battery, not only with my ROM, that I replaced recently.

Of course. But if you have doubt about your kernel flash Philz before, restart in recovery, full wipes and flash v6.

I had the same problem, Joosh, Replaced battery with 2650Ma MUGEN battery.

All is well now.

BTW, I have been using your ROM for about 6 months.

I'm waiting now to see if Samsung release some new better firmware.
LT6 is really close to LT4, I don't think worth making another version on it.

Anyway, I got original battery from Samsung, and replaced the old one. I had sudden shutdown of my n7000 with the old battery, and rebooting phone, for example at 40%, it goes to 14% with flickering screen. That's was so annoying.

This seems a common issue. Other peoples reported it.
I'll see.

Also, take a look at HydracoreNirvana Kernel.

Anyway, I think that right now LT4 base is the most solid JB firmware for custom roms based on tw.
Waiting for real updates from Samsung to make another version of Ultimate N7000 ROM.
LT5/6 doesn't worth the update and flash in my opinion.

Can someone else try to use waze app from play store and tell me if you are also experiencing black out when trying to report something while navigating? Am not sure why after dimming the screen it blacks out completely and won't show the map anymore. Exiting and opening the app is the only solution to view the map again.

Jep same for me, Black screen after opening the menu for making a mention, closing Waze and re open and the map is back, very annoying. Did you found a solution ?

Your rom was the first custom rom that I ever used on my Note and I am still using it till now! It is Excellent!:highfive:

I only like to report 2 issues in the v6 of your rom:

1. When you change the language in your phone, the messaging app wonnt change language it will stay in English. I personally use English but some members reported this issue in my mod.

2. In SecPhone.apk, also when you change the language in your phone, the settings and menu in SecPhone will stay in English.

Could this be fixedl?

Another thing I like to ask you about: When I try to edit the SecPhone and SecContacts from your rom, and then push them into the preload they will force close. While, after editing other apps and pushing them back they work normaly. They only can be eddited by using 7-zip and adding some pngs. Besides, when I try to install them using apktool "apktool if SecPone.apk" I get several errors.Is there anything special that I must do to edit these 2 apks? Are they editted using some special way or method?

Try to backup classes.dex inside SecPhone/SecMMS in a folder, then delete it from SecPhone/SecMMS and decompile.
It should work.
After you finish your changes and SecPhone/SecMMS is recompiled, push again classes.dex into final SecPhone.apk/SecMMS.apk and save.

Extract framework-res.apk and twframework-res.apk from /system/framework. Put them into your apktool folder and type the following lines:

apktool if framework-res.apk
apktool if twframework-res.apk
apktool if SecPhone.apk

After that decompile:

apktool d SecPhone.apk

make your changes and recompile:

apktool b SecPhone

Also, make sure you have proper tools to decompile/recompile.
Remember that some .apk needs framework installed.
It work for me anyway.

I typed all these codes before but still have the same error! I do not get this error with other apks.
I can decompile and recompile and do changes but when I push to preload they will force close.

Did you use the stock SecPhone and SecContacts of the xxlt4 in your rom? And could this be related to other mods such as call recording, mms hack... that are included in your rom?

Edit: what do you mean by proper tools? I use apktool for windows.

A day after flashing your ROM I now have no internet data, I have tried putting in my APN again, took sim and battery out. Turned off data and flight mode etc.....

I had the same problem with another rom, no internet data, or very very slow ------> wipe dalvik cache -----> perfect
