One thing however: is it possible to configure the call recording output directory, auto recording etc?
I have not found any settings for call recording.

No settings for call recording, it's integrated in the stock voice recording app. You might be able to change recording quality, but that's about it.

Also, this rom is way outdated. Have you tried sweetrom? Its the newest stock leak available, and it's awesome!

Have not tried it yet, I am too busy to waste time on "trying" as each time it means re-installing and re-configuring a few important apps each attempt (wasted time).

How is that ROM better than this one? so far it is stable, battery holding for long time, and it has call recording feature and same version 4.1.2 JB.

It's newer base. Samsung updates within the same android versions. You should try it out! About apps and setting all up again; try using titanium backup

Last time I tried, the restore was stuck in the middle.. with unclear error or how to fix it.
Furthermore, I am not sure doing such restores truely restore the app without bugs or stability issues. its not the same as re-installing the application...

That is my impression at least, I wasted too much time on creating the backup,and then even more trying to use it.

Never restore system apps/data. It might work for some apps, but the best is to just restore user apps/data.
However, I have never had any problem with Titanium Backup whatsoever for the last 4 years. Some apps i have brought the data with me since my first android phone back in 2010

Go to UPDATE ME, search somewhere there, sorry I forgot but to switch the CRT ON/OFF mods are there

You have to clean flash as the base for v6 is different from v5. Use Titanium Backup to Backup all your data and just restore them later. APPS + DATA only. DO NOT restore SYSTEM DATA.

Download S5 theme zip from Aryamod thread download links. I used it on my wife's rom and works beautifully.
