[ROM 4.1.2] JZO54K Plus - Pure Stock, Google Experience.

headerwbm.png

Hi!
after having tried almost all roms (from 2.x to 4.x) for this wonderful phone, I decided to create one myself.
I know that my work is similar than the 100.1% Google Experience but, before I leave my Nexus S, I will share my ROM anyway (and I know that for some people it may seem "obsolete").

I've worked around the last official Google release, Jelly Bean 4.1.2.

_-Details-_
* JZO54K Based
* rooted - SuperSU
* zipaligned
* deodexed
* Busybox installed
* Extended Power Menu
* SimpleKernel 1.4 (Stock Kernel + BLN-BLD)
* Touchscreen tweaked (Chainfire's init.d tweak)
* Gapps Included

_-Download-_

_-Extras-_
* Volume Rocker Wake mod
* CM File Manager
* Signature

_-Instructions-_
* Make a NANDroid backup,
* Make sure you have a backup of efs folder
* Complete wipe of your device (factory reset, wipe cache, wipe dalvik, format /system, /data, /cache, /boot, and, optional /sdcard),
* Flash JZO54K_Plus.zip
* Reboot System
* Reboot into recovery again to perform a fix permission (this fix nstools)
* Reboot System
* open Nstools and enable "use init.d scripts"

_-Thanks-_
* aaasss10, great friend in the "real life": the name of my ROM is a tribute of its for the i9000;
* Chainfire for the SuperSu and for the touchscreen tweak
* Terryhau for theSimpleKernel
* Paul627g for the Extended power menu
* Dsixda for the kitchen
* Brut.alll for the Apktool
* Cyanogenmod Team for the filemanager
* xda community: I'm without word!

This is a "unique stable release" ROM, without any other future mods (I left my Nexus S)

Sorry for the bad english

The only thing that missed from KWBR and other stock rooted ROMs was Exteneded Power Menu. That's what I need the most :)
Thank you for sharing :good:

ROM 4.1.2] JZO54K Plus

Sorry but I don't know why they ask for a password...
In uploading to another mirror...

EDIT: Added new link at Dev-Host - first post edited

I finally downloaded it last night. Thanks! The 3rd link worked for me. Hmm, didn't realize I was using a lot of stuff not found on Stock 4.1.2. Gonna see if I could live without long press back to kill and volume wake for awhile. Just had my power button replaced a couple of weeks ago. Thanks again for posting.

    Btw: it would be nice if you could ad volume wake too. If you consider.

    Added, at first post, a flashable zip to obtain volume rocker wake mod.
    Enjoy :thumbup:

    You can try to install a variety of applications such as Widgetsoid or Notification Toggle that are free on the market.
    I personally used also LMT launcher setting fast connections to wifi, bluetooth and gps.
    For the kernel, I was perfectly happy with the simplekernel that I integrated in the rom.
