This might be a noobish question:
I am on AT&T I777, contract just expired. I have installed Siyah Kernel to root the phone. Kinda worried about the emmc bug everyone keeps talking about. So wanted to be sure if I can install it over (by following the instructions) without any issues.
yes, but take a nandroid backup before.

No I phrased it exactly how I wanted it phrased. The dev doesn't have to keep working on this. In fact he doesn't even have an i777 the only reason this got released is because I requested it and tested it. So he doesn't have to keep working on this. So YES I encourage donations cause the dev doesn't have to keep spending long hours working on a device he doesn't have. So if you like it and want to keep it then lets donate to keep him interested. If you don't like my comments please ignore and move on ;)

Don't you just hate it when someone tell's you what to say and how you should say it and what makes this funny is that a picture is used with Freedom on it's face.
Question? The Galaxy S2 is already a slim phone, if I flash Slim Bean wouldn't that make my phone sexy slim?

Throwing money at someone to get them to stick around is NO WAY to act. Or teach others, especially new people here, to act. These developers are under no obligation to be here. This is not a job for them. He could have built this for u and then pmd u a link. He chose to release it to everyone publicly. That's awesome! And I'm happy for that. But you're saying hey let's pay him to develop for us. And that's a bunch of ****. This community is about freedom and open source and it's not APPLE. It ain't about money here. It's about something bigger.

hey guys..let's encourage Devs from I9100, "krarvind" is a renowned Dev from I9100 space :good: , most of them don't have our device (i777) but still they support and we show them our respect!:highfive:
Yes let's encourage them. But throwing money at someone to stay or do something for u is NOT what this place is about. And I think it's a poisonous idea to spread.

Sent from team Pirate headquarters using Beanacle ROM. As soon as he builds it.

Krarvind, when ever you mention Galaxy S variations on your site, are you referring only to the variations listed in the parenthesis?

@ all: let's keep the thread on topic. Most know how much work goes into development of an AOSP Rom for non nexus devices. Show appreciation whatever way you can. I do it because of the passion/interest i have in android. Please take any further discussions on this via PM. Moose wasn't saying donate or i will leave, he was just stating his opinion/thought. If i did that Slim wouldn't exist for 17 devices now. I think most of us understand what the xda community is about. Cheers

Okay, I got my first screen freeze with slim rom as I always had with cm9/10 before, it's very clear my phone does not like something with aosp/aokp, restoring my touchwiz backup

Nice to see this rom here! I've used slim on my captivate and slim ICS on my i777(hell raised) a while back. Great dev with solid roms. Good luck.
