no it just hangs with "starting radio" . its not related to kernel i guess. Slim roms disabled radios it seems. too bad cos its a good ROm and radio will not eat considerable resources even if they add it... i wonder anyone could make a fix for it. all perfect but missing important app:(

Great rom except that am facing tremendous battery drain. And alarm Manager is to blame (as per betterbafterystats)
am using lupus v5. Governor : ondemandx max cpu: 1 Ghz
Any suggestions?

At least in my hands lupus version 4 is easier on the battery than lupus v5. Also the kernel inside the Slim Bean ROM is pretty battery friendly. I prefer Interactive Gov to ondemand, but that's just me. Typically smartass v2 gives the best battery performace.

Alarm manager is a general category in BBS, it is not just one thing. If you really want to see which things are causing the high count for Alarm Manager use BBS and pick Alarms. This category can be found in the same drop down menu as Other, Kernel Wakelock, Parial Wakelocks, etc.

Slim bean + fusion 4.5 = ray is flying in the air! Amazing combo. Never been so fast. Even at 1Ghz the phone is so damn fast like a dual cored device. Highly recommended. The only thing missing is TWRP in fusion. :-\

Any feedback on the ray ? Sounds promising ... What about the battery with fusion kernel ?

Other question, what does SREC_VoiceDialer_Addon_GoogleNow stands for ?
Last but not least, no need to flash stock ics rom before flashing this if we come from another custom rom ? (I know it is said that we do not need to, but sometimes there are issues...)

how many free ram you guy got after install gapps?
system tuneup pro showed RAM 170+ mb

TB showed - system ROm - 209 mb
. internal -300 + mb

that's after Gapps and all my personal apps . and i use App2ad too. and it still i didn't deleted unwanted system apps from the system.

anyway the rom is amazing you have to try it. lot of customization options . BUT no Fm radio prompted me to leave Slim ROm :(

As far as the battery question ..I'm using fusion 4.5 with smartass v2 and sio, it gives me amazing performance, I have 3-6 % battery drain overnight..its the best I got so far from JB roms..

Better than InteractiveX / Sio ?
The choice of Governor is going to be one of those things that will depend on how you use your phone. The governor will have a big effect on the battery when your phone is awake and has very little to do with battery drain when your phone is in deep sleep mode. Since most people's phone is sleeping more than it is awake, the battery drain of a ROM/kernel pair is usually given by how the battery drains "over night" or while idling...or over the last 24 hours with "normal use" or "heavy gaming" etc. The effect of the governor would best be determined under some kind of use. When somebody has bothered to measure these things very carefully (for example here), ondemand and smartass v2 usually do the best.

Ok I must say this rom is amazing.
Really fast and smooth, lots of tweaks, everything works fine. This is the first time I have the feeling I am not using a beta rom.
I mean, first time even with ICS, that I manage to have a smooth rom with smartassV2 / SIO without complaining about a small lag.
I will check the battery in the next days...
THANKS !
