Oh i know. I'm kinda partial to the unicorns though. I compile aokp for my gnex. Wish they wouldn't have dropped support

Go to Settings/Wireless and Networks/More/Mobile Networks/Network Mode and push CDMA/EvDo auto then push LTE/CDMA and you should have data. If that doesn't give you data, then toggle airplane mode on then off. This will not survive a reboot, so just do the steps again.
