I recommend: full wipe and full format.Im on JellyBam 4.1 now. I will udpate to JellyBam 6.3, do I need to flash a CM10.1 kernel first before flashing the rom or I can just full wipe and flash directly? Thanks.
Full format meaning format system/preload/data? So just flash over 4.1 without flashing CM10.1 kernel?I recommend: full wipe and full format.
make sure you have a safe kernelFull format meaning format system/preload/data? So just flash over 4.1 without flashing CM10.1 kernel?
Thanks a lot for your help.make sure you have a safe kernel
1) full wipe (data, cache, Dalvik, battery stats), full format (data, cache, system, preload, EMMC) (I recommend the important system)
2) Flash the ROM
no.Thanks a lot for your help.
OT: I always want to know, say Im already rooted, like what Im on right now, if I format EMMC in recovery, will I lose root after format?
