P.A.C.-Man ROM

Based off of Jellybean 4.2.1

for the HTC One S...brought to you by klin1344

Paranoid + AOKP + CyanogenMod = PACman

There are many great ROMs out there, with the more popular ones being AOSPA (ParanoidAndroid), CM10.1, and AOKP. Being all great ROMs, it is sometimes difficult to choose which one you want to run. Why choose when you can have all three? P.A.C.-Man ROM is combination of all three ROMs, so you don't need to keep switching or deciding between which one to flash. Get all of the features in one ROM! The sources are here.. Enjoy :)

Attention! Because this is a mashup of CM10, AOKP, and PA, there are some settings that might conflict with others because they are duplicate. Please keep that in mind before you begin to wonder if there is a bug in this ROM. Thanks.

Features
  • based off of AOSP Jellybean 4.2.1
  • latest CM10.1
  • latest AOKP MR1
  • latest AOSPA (ParanoidAndroid 2.99+)
  • all settings from CyanogenMod 10.1, Android Open Kang Project MR1, and AOSPA 2.99+
  • PIE navigation controls
  • Hybrid Settings
  • Per-App Layout
  • Per-App Color
  • much more...flash and find out!

Downloads

All downloads are HERE

GApps HERE

How to Install

1. Download ROM and GApps.
2. Boot into recovery.
3. Wipe data/factory reset if coming from a different ROM.
4. Flash the ROM and GApps.
5. Reboot and enjoy.

FAQ

FAQ
Read ALL of this before posting in this thread! Thanks.

Q: I don't use the on-screen softkeys. How do I remove the navigation bar?

A:
Go into Hybrid Properties --> Interface, under Workspace drag the slider for "Navigation Bar Size" to 0%.

Q: How do I disable the dual-pane layout that is preset in some apps (Settings, Gmail, etc.)?

A:
Go into Hybrid Properties --> Apps and choose the app that you want to change. In the top right hand corner, click "Reset" and it will change the DPI and the layout of that app to the Workspace default that you have set.

Q: Some ROM Control options do not work?

A:
ROM Control is still a WIP as of right now. The frameworks part of ROM Control has yet to be merged, so that's why some settings are blank. Please give some time, and it will be fixed in the near future.

I just built and flashed this on my s3 and realized that there are no paranoid android settings. I will upload a fix tomorrow. But for now, please take the paranoidpreferences.apk from the paranoid ROM and install it. Thanks.

I tried to install like a normal apk and it didn't work (didn't think it would)

so I moved it to /system/app and it still doesn't do anything.

also... this is kinda me being obsessive/ocd.... but on the boot animation the background for the pacman/ghost is not completely black... you can see the square around the picture, like I said, not a big deal, just me being obsessive.

On the positive side...

rom is QUICK! lightening fast man!

of course, way to early to tell how the battery life will be.

one thing I would really like to see is the CM10 circle battery with percentage, the one that rotates when charging, that is just slick.

I was wondering about the lack of PA settings. Now I know!

Great job on this ROM. It is super fast. And I love the loads of settings!

Hey Klin,

I´m wondering if you are sleeping at some time...?!

How can one single person develop so many different ROMs (And what is even more import so many GREAT WORKING ROMs..:?!?!?!)

You do so much for us, even though you don´t ow the HOS anymore... Your work is so much appreciated!

Thanks again and again and again...

I might copy this Post to my clipboard as I think it wont take long until I post it in some other thread again :D

Wish you all the best and thanks again! Will give this one a whirl rigth now :)

Btw, don´t forget to get some sleep... ;) :good:

EDIT: Maybe you could add a little of you unofficial Baked ROM as well... Have not booted this PACman one yet, but your Baked rom has been my most favourite one since you first release :)
