You can flash this straight over CROMi-X or Asus Jelly Bean 4.2.1 stock without a wipe if you want to test it – but it is a very good idea do a full wipe to eliminate issues. It is aimed at users who want a Stock Rooted experience with no tweaks

You must be unlocked and have TWRP 2.4.4.0 or above installed to flash the Stock Rom from the internal or external sdcard. You must also be on one of the 10.6.1.14.x JB 4.2.1 Bootloaders.

The TF700 Infinity 10.6.1.14.10 JB 4.2.1 Bootloader and TWRP recovery package is offered in the downloads section for those that haven’t upgraded yet. Flash it from Recovery as you would a ROM :)
Don't forget to do a Nandroid Backup first and give the ROM 5 mins to stabilise!

This Rom is based off the latest Asus Transformer 10.6.1.27.5 WW release. I have tweaked it to make it compatible for the TF700. It will work on any locale infinity but you must be on the correct bootloader

ChangeLog from Asus:
1. Improve system stability
2. Update Polaris Office to v4.0.5030, to fix Spanish IME issue with keyboard dock
3. Support HDMI 1080P output when play Full HD video clip
4. Fixed the issue that sometime the Weather widget will fail to update weather data

ChangeLog from sbdags:
• Rom is DEODEXed by me
• Latest SuperSU binary and apk included to give root access
• Busybox installed
• init.d support
• unsecured stock kernel
• Multi DPI support (default is set to 240)

There are no other mods – please don’t ask for theming, changes or performance boosts. Those will come with CROMi-X :)

10.6.1.14.10 JellyBean Bootloader and TWRP package DOWNLOAD

Please download the correct version for your SKU. Flash from a custom recovery and it will reboot – you will not brick if you follow these instructions :)

Update your bootloader to the latest one for your device by flashing from your existing custom recovery and then choose reboot from the menu.
Please don't flash these at the same time as a ROM package as the latter will cancel the bootloader/TWRP flash.

IT WILL TAKE ABOUT 1 MINUTE TO FLASH AND MOVE THE BLUE BAR TO FULL. DON'T PANIC AND DON'T INTERRUPT IT!

After flashing your device will reboot back into your normal ROM but you will be on the new bootloader and have TWRP installed

Then go back to TWRP and proceed to flash the ROM :)

I think I made a mistake ...
before sold my Asus TF700 I wanted clean it . for that i go to parameters/security/factoryReset
Since my tablet only shows the Droid Green boot. (more than 10 minute)
Can not enter recoverymode!

edit: After 2 hours all is OK ... i must be more patient ;)

I was on TWRP 2.8 and got the bad symlinks message, too. So, I downgraded to 2.5.0.0, but when I start it I get prompted for a password. What's up with that? (I clicked cancel.) Then when I tap Install and select /sdcard it shows no files. But when I open an adb shell I can see all the files in there. Any suggestions?

You installed the wrong twrp and are now semi bricked.
Follow buster99's guide to recover.

I don't think I'm bricked at all, since the tablet will properly boot up zombi-pop. The problems are three: 1) I don't have a fastboot option when I boot into the bootloader, even though the white text says "device is unlocked"; 2) I can't flash your stock ROM using TWRP 2.8 because of some symlink problem; and 3) when I use TWRP 2.5 it says there are no files in /sdcard. I'm thinking of flashing TWRP 2.6.1.0, which is what is in your bootloader/TWRP package, and then trying to flash the stock ROM. How does that sound?

Sorry you are right - I confused the thread and thought it was someone with a TF300 - which would have bricked you - apologies!!

Try 2.6.1.0 but in essence everything after 2.5.0.0 should be fine for what you are trying to do. Later 4.4 kitkat roms require higher versions.

If in doubt post your recovery log from /tmp/recovery.log or by copying it using the TWRP options.

OK, I tried all kinds of recoveries and they all worked equally badly. I thought there might be some kind of root issue since it kept asking for my password. I booted into zombi-pop and reinstalled superSU. After that, I could install the stock ROM, but when it booted up I get a message saying Encryption unsuccessful. Encryption was interrupted and I have to do a factory reset. I did that, didn't work, wiped everything except internal storage, didn't work, fixed root again, flashed the stock ROM again, but I still get the Encryption unsuccessful message. Any ideas, O wise one?
I just thought of something: my /data partition is f2fs. Could that be screwing things up?

Stock ROMs and kernels don't support f2fs.
