[ROM][4.2.2][05/08]Slim Bean - N7000 [Build 8][FINAL]

Guys, i'm experiencing this strange problem. On official 4.1.2 i have no problem with wifi and connectivity, but when i flash slimbean 4.2.2 build 8 it cant detect my router and i see no names in the list and so i cant use wifi, i was using slimbean 4.2.2 build 8 for about a week and wifi had no problem, but suddenly this strange problem happened, i tried reflashing still no luck. One time i reflashed, the wifi connected to my router but then after about an hour it just disconnected and would not recognize any wifi networks anymore.
P.S: So far my results goes like this: when using official 4.1.2 +Sim card inserted wifi works and no problem whatsoever
When using SlimBean 4.2.2 Build 8 + Sim card inserted wifi doesnt work and my router is not detected so i can't connect
When using SlimBean 4.2.2 Build 8 without SIM then it may or may not work!!! Now how strange is that?

Sadly, my GF did not get her op yet... So 'life' is spending the last 3 days hanging out at the hospital trying to help her as much as I can and make her life a little more bearable while they stick needles in her, wake her up every few hours to check vitals, bump her surgery due to gunshot victims being dumped at hospital entrance, change her surgeon, decide they want an MRI before operating, without really keeping is informed of what the **** is going on etc... All while she has been mostly "nil by mouth" and on IV fluids in case a surgery slot opens up... 3 days and she has been allowed to eat 2 sandwiches...

4.3 will come when it comes...

I hope your gf can make it through hospitalisation and hope those doctors can focus on their current patients instead of rushing off every time there is an emergency. Whereas doctors in my country are more but too educated that their trainees do their survey tests on patients. BTW sorry for annoying you.

On a side note, everytime I uncheck categories in the Gmail settings, the unchecked ones are checked again next time I open the Gmail, anyone facing the same issue?

Edit: solved after reflashing the gapps again without wiping anything

Anyway, I'll try and get a 4.3 n7000 build done in the next couple of days... given the issues I had with i9100 (it took about 20 builds before the damn thing actually booted :silly I was wanting to make sure the i9100 and galaxys2-common base was nice and stable before I attempted to put out a n7000 build, as I don't actually have a physical device... so I can't personally test it before I release...

So if you want to flash my first build, you'd better be prepared to:

a. Full Wipe your device
b. use ODIN/Heimdall to recover if it all goes horrendously wrong

i have been using this rom for a week or so
its the first non touchwiz rom that works with my bluetooth carkit pretty much without bugs
i will try your 4.3 rom but this seems rock solid which is important as my phone is for work

First question - which eq are you using - PlayerPro has it's own PlayerPro DSP pack, afair with ten bands.

Slimbean comes with two standard apps for sound effects, one is MusicFX.apk installed with ROM, other - DSP Manager comes with gapps package. If you use any of those two, check app versions numbers - it could be both ROMs mentioned have different versions.

I don't use DSP Manager on my playerPro and no other equalizer, musicFX on my device is ver 1.4 and DSP Manager is 2.0, i have try this setting one by one and nothing chane on equalizer playerpro it's only shown "manual" setting

As I don't have a n7000 to test on, this build is completely untested! ie. I don't even know if it will boot...

If you are willing to accept the following conditions:

• I accept absolutely NO responsibility for any damage/loss that may occur
• You don't mind full wiping your device
• You know how to reflash using ODIN/Heimdall in case you can't get back into recovery
• You know how to get logcats via ADB

Likely issues:
- Graphics glitches
- ???

Messaging>menu>Settings>tick Vibrate.

@HardCorePawn are you intending to fix this? If fixing this will be at the price of the lock screen wallpaper stretching, please please please don't fix it. SlimBean is the only AOSP ROM I've found that doesn't stretch the lock screen wallpaper. Every other ROM I've tested (CM, Carbon, RootBox, JellyBam, P.A.C., etc) stretches the lock screen wallpaper if a custom image is used. If SlimBean ends up doing the same then I'm doomed to use something like WidgetLocker or just go back to TW (which I hate very much).

BTW, I'd like to test the test build of SlimBean 4.3, but I don't know how to get logcats, and I can't actually help in finding the bugs, etc. Can I get a download link regardless? Cause SlimBean is just super awesome, and I really want to try it with Android 4.3. Thank you very much
