[ROM][4.2.2][05/08]Slim Bean - N7000 [Build 8][FINAL]

Ok... anyone who wants to test the 4.3 build for n7000... it is on my goo.im account...

Just some friendly reminders:

1. This is COMPLETELY UNTESTED... I have no idea if it will boot... make backups of everything important to you... as you may need to reflash using ODIN/Heimdall if things go wrong... :fingers-crossed:

2. You MUST full wipe when installing 4.3 for the first time... loads of FC's caused by trying to upgrade from 4.2.2 to 4.3 due to bad/broken libs...

3. You MUST use the 4.3 gapps from slimroms.net...

4. It doesn't include the newly found fix for the graphics glitches... so expect some weirdness... I'll try and get a new build up soon.

Just tried the 4.3 unofficial.

Reporting:
*deleting system apps does not cause stuck on Splash screen(stuck on Asylum and Nightmare rom)
*BIG THANKS FOR bringing back THE ADVANCE SETTINGS(really missed that)
*no problems on battery on status bar

++Video recording interface shows weird density when rotating (pushed the Nightmare Rom camera and all ok)
++dialer not themed(like nightmare rom)


SlimBean feels like home.

SDcard not detected in file manager

halo everyone
love this rom so much
but i had this weird problem on my friend's Note

coming from rooted 4.1.2 (Philz kernel)
followed OP instructions
already enable :

- Developer options
- Android Debugging
- MediaScanner behavior on boot - Scan media
- Root access - Apps & ADB
- SuperUser Access - Apps & ADB

any idea how to fix this?

What file manager?

Note that from 4.2.2... the sdcard locations were changed to /storage/sdcard0 and /storage/sdcard1... possibly the file manager isn't set up to read those correctly?

Alternatively... do you know what filesystem the external sdcard is using?

Stock file manager that come with the rom..
also tried Es File Explorer,but same result
there is no problem with external sd,i can view all thing in extSD in file manager

I love this rom but i've a problem with my ringstone/notification sound.It is very annoying.

I always loose them.

Every night, I shutdown my phone and I loose my sound when i boot up in the morning.

I think my storage isn't ready when I boot my phone.

What can i do?
Is there a folder where i can copy my notification/ringstone sound to not loose them?

Because you failed to install BetterBatteryStats to identify what is actually eating up your battery...

Process it pretty simple:

1. Install BBS
2. Let phone idle (unplugged) for a minimum of 1 hour... 2 or 3 is better
3. Check BBS to see what kernel and/or partial wakelocks are being generated

If you have any wakelocks that are more than 10 to 15 minutes per hour of idle... then chances are you have a problem... search BBS thread for info

Most of the time, it will be partial wakelocks... and caused by a rogue app... or even MediaScanner going nuts due to corrupt media files (mp3s, pics, videos) with bad tags etc...
