very good news
the new version of RemICS_JB v8 is almost finished
it is based on cutter dernère CM10.1 base and the latest version of Resurrection Remix

Icing on the cake is fully theme samsung
add tweak and other good optimizations

I will propose a test tomorrow

Keep a watch on xda

Installation aborted.

Tried to flash on both sdcards downloaded file 2 times also. I dont know what to do now. Can someone help me please.

I guess the downloaded file is corrupted.
Download again & flash.. Or maybe wait for experts reply.:p:D

You should wipe everything: cache/data/dalvik/system... and try to flash again
I suggest backup important data first.

1) Try to install from the phone instead of flash cards
2) Make sure that the file is not corrupt
3) When installing, do not make "Mounts and storage -> Format/System"
since removed build.prop and installation could not verify the signature

Already done, downloaded file 3 times, checked md5 sum, all seems to be ok. Extrange problem, googled for a solution but says is cwm error or updater script error.

So you should try flash back DDFL2 using odin and try again. This way may be helpful.

The New version (v8) is horrible for me when I start my phone I get many FC's (touchwiz, android.process, ...)
and the red colors in this theme is soooo bad
please LoLaTiOn go back to the old theme and base and fix the bugs reported

your external sdcard maybe broken. if you want try one more time, you can try to put .zip of rhis rom in internal memory. then go to recovery CWM and install zip (not from external sdcard)

how about try to install or flash other rom?

I've tried this rom several hours ago...I just want to taste this rom. but I don't like the UI settings and battery life. and also in this rom I can't install Viper4Android (the best audio app for me). so I went back to my favorite rom for now •Like S4 by Lolation• :)

this is the same base of Like S4 > just last resurrection remix version on it bro...

This error occurs when installing and too big for the device

strange but you can try to delete some applications before flashing the rom

I will make lighter Rom in the next version if it is the case

Yeah. but in this rom the settings like has one and a half panel, it looks little strange for me :D
and the important thing is... I can't install Viper4Android. every time I install the driver then reboot..it always bootloop, eventhough I did wipe cache+dalvic cache on recovery. don't know why. so I decided to restore my LikeS4 backup ;)
anyway, for me...the battery life is still better in LikeS4 (set on: conservative + cfq) :thumbup:

Hi @acuicultor :) I had a similar error when I installed CM10.2 Alpha 1. DDLF2 > Alpha 1 > auto reboot CWM > Alpha 1 > Error: Status 7. After that I just did Wipe cache and Wipe Data, re-insert the Alpha 1. All successful. Error was no more. :)
