He buddy, been chilling like a hounddog but not in the pound or asylum(only visiting), had a little liquidrom and now out of the box sippin the vanilla Root coolaid.

Sure...some extra steps needed.
Navigate to data/app > com.czarnomorski.theme.dcikonz-1.apk
Open as zip (Total Commander FTW)
Go to res/drawable-xhdpi
Choose (all) the icons you want
Copy them in a folder on SD
Start customizing your ribbons.

this will let you use icon packs with all the major AOKP features... I can't speak for any others, but this should work with ribbons, lockscreen targets, navbar, and navring.

Typical! i sync the repo so i can build a nightly and then my phone pops up an update is available!

so guys latest nightly is up on Goo > RootBox

No. I know I have seen them somewhere. Maybe they are made by blackbearblanc, Samantha Connor,... I don't know for sure.
