It determines the amount of time it takes before the Wi-Fi turns off, after the screen is shut off.
Any examples of a scenario where the option comes in handy? Is it for the case where for example you have a download going and the screen times out which would cause wifi to stop and break the download before you have a chance to turn the screen back on?

If you have it where it goes off in the wifi settings, but you dont like it going off so soon... this comes in handy.. or vice versa if you want it to shut off sooner.

Im trying to locate the commit for the % battery that is unique to Eos. Does anyone know where it is or how far back in the git it resides? Also, are there any other dependencies necessary to make this work with another Rom?

I'd like an option to disable it too, not a fan of the new look. My main attraction to EOS was that it was very close to stock with just the right additions, but it seems EOS is moving away from stock :(
There is no pleasing everyone I suppose. Some people want more features.. some people don't. Change is good.. whether or not you like it. I think it looks great. It needs polishing no doubt.. and it will in time get polished. I'm sure it will be option later on.. maybe not.

EOS is EOS. Not stock, so its not going to adhere to that "stock with features" ideal. They've been discussing this quite heavily, and BRD as i could image, worked very hard on this implementation. This slide out navigation seems to becoming the norm in many google apps (Look at Gmusic).

I have no problem with change and no problem with that feature.I am only eager to have it when it will be smooth.EOS was EOS without this feature too and not some stock rom :) We just said our opinion and not killed anyone

That is fine, I didn't mean to sound rude in any way. I do appreciate the fine job EOS team has done on this ROM. The only way to be totally happy is to learn how to build your own ROM :)

I just flashed the rom and it is very smooth. One thing that i couldnt figured out how to do is to add the menu button to the nav bar. In the EOS control center, there is an option for the menu key but i couldnt figure out how to "activate" it on the nav bar. Please help!

Personally I love the new settings menu, it actually makes it seem more consistent with apps using that interface now, most Google apps are getting updated with it and fKu uses it too. As long as they make it smoother then it should be fine

Take a minute to read my post on the Navigation Drawer api. In a nutshell, it's nothing that can't be reverted. Yes, it's a bit adventurous. Are we "moving away from stock?" No. Am I merging Halo? No. Am I open to try new ideas and concepts in the spirit of Extreme Androiding. Hell yes!
