I am coning from Eos 3.0.
I back up the rom, installed the new recovery, did a factory reset and then tried to install the 138 firmware.
I get this inside recovery,

installing update
Warning. No file contextsbuild at 2013-01-08-06.10 pst
set-perm some changes=failed
E.Error in sd card eos-umts=everest=20130108=138.zip
status 7
installation aborted

Any idea what i am doing wrong ?

it can be recovery, try to change recovery to newer and try again.

Hi EOS team! Well done! Only two thinks does not working...first is silly keyboard behaviour and the second one is that calendar does not working...any help pleas? Thx Phill

When you say the Calendar isn't working, you mean as in doesnt sync?

I read somewhere that google are dropping support for exchange active sync and as such calendars wont work, not a ROM issue, everyone that resets a device will get this problem..

Hi, will there be a new Kernel ? Another thing, the keyboard closes on itself,can we have a fix on that? It's very counter productive

I used TWRP 2.3.3 Recovery, and made sure I formatted /system after clearing cache/reset system & dalvik cache. The formatting of /system seemed to make the most difference as I was on CM10.1 which was really screwed up for me.

U use android keyboard ? try to install hacker keyboard its much much better ... Btw on it i didnt saw any bugs.

I'm using rogue touch recovery and its fine. I ever read your problem when I failed to install codename. I just flash the newest gapps and install the rom and flash the gapps again. Maybe it can help you?

So coming from eos3 stable rom i must say that this is a pretty good one! especially this is a nightly build. games like draw something aint working so good ..hope to see improvement! thanks!
