I saw on G+ that you're selling your Note 2...does this mean that you are no longer going to develop for N7100?

Hi @bangsti,

First of all, great work on this ROM. Even though I've been using this since yesterday, I feel it's really a stable ROM for daily use. It's fast, smooth and not that feature packed as other AOSPs. Thanks for this!

I don't know whether this is AOSP related, or it is a problem with this ROM; I've checked through my call logs this morning, and I found out that the New section has call logs from yesterday or 2 days ago...and the Older section displays the latest call logs. Here are two images that illustrate this:

Any thoughts on this? Maybe this has to do with me restoring an XML backup of the Call Logs via Titanium, but just need yours and others' view as well. :)

In reference to my previous post, it seems that the root cause was using Titanium Backup to backup the call logs (in XML) from TW broke the entire structure.

I installed Call Logs Backup & Restore, performed a backup of my call logs again, clear the call logs and restore this backup: seems to have fixed this issue. Hope this will help others migrating from TW to this ROM (or any other AOSP ROMs).

Hope to see more improvements to this ROM soon, mate! Keep up the good work!

Hi bangsati,

Is it possible to use the Google Calendar rather than the in-built Android Calendar; since the Google one has more updates than the Android one? I don't know about the dependencies on using Google's calendar since most of the apps rely on the availability of the Android calendar for it to function (calendar widgets, for example).

searched the forum but was not able to find the answer so i assume it is not supported but just wanna double check if im correct.
in Hybrid settings, there is DPI group per app but was wondering if there UIMode per app. meaning depending on app, i can chose table or phone mode. is there such function?

It sure is supported. Check per app layout in hybrid settings and you should see your wishes answered. :)

Ive been sitting on JellyBeer 4.20 for quite some time now and it has served me well but is starting to become buggy so I will be flashing this soon. I use RedPill kernel currently... Can anyone tell me if the latest version of RedPill is working with this ROM?

Please advise...

Thanks...

Is anyone taking over this rom or will it die with Bangsti ?

Sorry to say the devs of jellybeer started moving it over to a 4.3 AOSP base, but then benjamin discontinued the rom project as he got a job and the actual dev work had stopped being enjoyable for him :(

Its a real pity, ive compiled it for my old DHD and it was silky smooth when built with linaro so on Note 2 it must have been fantastic :)
