I format everything and its same again. I didnt delete android folder from sd card and internat storage. I will do that now, what else? I have in storage android.secure folder should i delete that? How to delete everything in internal storage? :/ I dont know what is causing this lag :/

Do this format both your SD card and internal memory.
And then clean install

What i think is it's njust your thinking, a rom takes a day or two and 2-3 charge cycles to settle down.
Wait for a day and then see

what language dit you choose, and is then all in that language. i choosed german and just the gapps are in german. ist that correct?

Factory reset only wipes /data partition and /cache!

Go into recovery and do:

format /emmc
and
format /sdcard

Doing this you will fully wipe your device!

eMMC = internal memory of your phone!
SDCard = microSD card!

When i do that, still remains a grey bar on the home page just without google search options. I wonna get rid of that grey bar.

Sorry for late post. After you've disabled Google search, you have to restart launcher, System settings->Apps->All->Launcher->Force stop->OK and then hit home button.

I have been running 1.4 and about to update to 1.5... on My N7000 Note.

Couple of questions as Im techno retarded

1. On my home screens the screen width seems too narrow for the actual screen. In other words, its as though Im running a screen the size of a Galaxy S2 rather than the big screen on the Note. I cant for the life of me find the settings to adjust the home page sizes so they are wider and can have more widgets/apps across them.

The home screens only have 4 apps in width, yet the app draw has 5. App draw also seems to go to the edge of the screen while the home page seems to be bordered.

How do I adjust that?


2. Also, th GooManager shows I have an update available V 1.5. All good. But if I download via the phone, do I then just go into Recovery via Rom manager or similar and run the zip file like I would if I downloaded to my PC and copied it to my phones internal SD card?

More importantly, when I update via GooManager do I need to wipe everything and will I have to reload and set up all my apps and google etc again???

1. Use a third party launcher from play store.

2. Goo manager is just an interface. It will download the rom zip for you to goomanager directory. Reboot to recovery and flash.

Checking the 1.5 beta changelog I see there's support for hardware buttons remapping or disabling. I can't find the settings anywhere though, is this included in the current version for the N7000?

Thanks, I was sure I checked everywhere. I was hoping to find a setting to make the power button inactive, but since I haven't seen that setting on any ROM I guess it's a system limitation.

Has any1 tried to set "Take a screenshot" option for stylus long press?? For me it only works in system settings screen opened...
Has any1 faced this issue??

Or you change the DPI ("resolution") to make everything smaller: Icons, fonts etc. So more stuff fits on the screen.

Settings -> Interface -> LCD Density. I prefer 240.

because i like the PhilZ kernel. Or do i need the CM10 kernel ?

That's why the screenshot with stylus was never implemented in CM10.

As there is an option in Navigation menu in settings to set up hardware keys I think it would be very useful if there would be an option in Lockscreen to set which hardware key wakes up device to lockscreen. I often wake up my Note by accident with home button.

I'm having a big problem with 1.5 Beta, when someone calls me or if I call someone : the screen stays on and touch too even if my N7000 is on my ears. I can even touch it with my ears and fingers...
