First is you are not giving detail here for people to reply.
Steps for correct installation:
1. Check you downloaded file.
2. Flash CM10.1 kernel for better results (link in my signature). Then reboot recovery and follow below.
3. Full wipe including system. (Wipe data, Cache, Dalivk and mount & storage>format system)
4. Flash rom & latest gapps http://goo.im/gapps/gapps-jb-20121212-signed.zip
5. Reboot & enjoy!

I am coming from slimwizz with philz kernel. It stops at problem with the file or something (I should have wrote down what it said really) same problem with both downloads. So its shouldn't be a kernel problem?

Would I be better off downloading with my laptop do you think?

Only Philz kernel 3.99 supports rom installation or else you will get Status error.

Your really couldn't OC to 2000? Did you apply the 2 GB Rom hack?

I know I have not been flashing as much lately and a bit behind on the forum but how do I get the 2gb mod?

No offense but let's leave OT to the OT threads. One reason I feel that new users (who genuinely want to learn) get put off because we delve too much into off-topic talks.

1. While coming from Stock ROM, please flash a CM10.1 kernel or Phil's latest release (4).

(Yes, Hydracore variants will work as well)


2. The official release page for all Carbon ROMs is http://goo.im/devs/carbon (check the link once). I had to post this from my account due to time constraints. Apologies for that.

The goo page has a list of extras. Please go through them once. Send me a PM if there is something that you want added.

@toxicthunder: I've a small suggestion...

we have in TW roms XXLSC, there is a setting for disabling calling from Bluetooth device when the screen is off.
This is very helpful coz, when i keep the bt headpiece in pocket it accidentally clicks the call button and calls...

I've searched, many apps but all of them have an option to do exactly the opposite.
Would it be possible to add such kind of feature?

Btw im ocd to 1704. Thats close to 2 gig working like a sweet butter,

I would love to have my good old voodoo back, but in fact with the unspoken kernal u can set the volume to the level that ur head expl0de so its ok for me
