Not your problem at all, maybe there is no logcat for tethering by default.
For what its worth, wifi tethering is not currently working in any of the roms (EOS4, CM10.1)

Looks like there may be some problems using aLogcat. If you know how to use adb directly you can try these commands after enabled and disabled tethering several times and upload output files:Absolutely nothing gets written to the radio log at all and nothing gets written to the main log when activating or deactivating portable wi-fi hotspot
adb logcat > logcat.txt
adb logcat -b radio > logcat-radio.txt
I know, so we need to fix it.
Unless i'm doing something very wrong still nothing gets written to the logcat-radio.txt file and all thats written to the logcat.txt is a message saying * daemon started successfully *
That's weird. Can you try `adb devices` to see if your computer got your Xoom?

I must say this ROM is just epic! I'm coming from EOS4 nightlies of 4.2.1 and there was a lot of lag on that. This one is just butter! Amazing! Thanks a lot!
I like this rom, but I'm not a fan of running the umts version on my wifi-only xoom. any chance I could get a report of the 20120103 wifi version?
I use both (I have 2 xooms - 1 wifi and 1 3g) - the wifi only rom works just as well as this one.
after activating 3g once the tablet will not go to deep sleep. Also if you activate flight mode there is no deep sleep. So over night it needs 15-20% of battery instead of 3%.
Update your radio to N_01.100.07P then Xoom can go to deep sleep in normal mode but the issue still remained in airplane mode.
