Absolutely nothing gets written to the radio log at all and nothing gets written to the main log when activating or deactivating portable wi-fi hotspotWill give that a try this evening - have to leave for work now![]()
OK, I think I should check the code for tethering. Thanks for your helpAbsolutely nothing gets written to the radio log at all and nothing gets written to the main log when activating or deactivating portable wi-fi hotspot![]()
Sorry I wasn't much use.OK, I think I should check the code for tethering. Thanks for your help![]()
Not your problem at all, maybe there is no logcat for tethering by default.Sorry I wasn't much use.
For what its worth, wifi tethering is not currently working in any of the roms (EOS4, CM10.1)Not your problem at all, maybe there is no logcat for tethering by default.
Looks like there may be some problems using aLogcat. If you know how to use adb directly you can try these commands after enabled and disabled tethering several times and upload output files:Absolutely nothing gets written to the radio log at all and nothing gets written to the main log when activating or deactivating portable wi-fi hotspot![]()
I know, so we need to fix it.For what its worth, wifi tethering is not currently working in any of the roms (EOS4, CM10.1)
Sent from my Xoom using xda app-developers app
Unless i'm doing something very wrong still nothing gets written to the logcat-radio.txt file and all thats written to the logcat.txt is a message saying * daemon started successfully *Looks like there may be some problems using aLogcat. adb logcat > logcat.txt
adb logcat -b radio > logcat-radio.txt
That's weird. Can you try `adb devices` to see if your computer got your Xoom?Unless i'm doing something very wrong still nothing gets written to the logcat-radio.txt file and all thats written to the logcat.txt is a message saying * daemon started successfully *
Yup my mistake, I was using the wrong usb cable -That's weird. Can you try `adb devices` to see if your computer got your Xoom?
I couldn't agree more :good:I must say this ROM is just epic! I'm coming from EOS4 nightlies of 4.2.1 and there was a lot of lag on that. This one is just butter! Amazing! Thanks a lot!
I use both (I have 2 xooms - 1 wifi and 1 3g) - the wifi only rom works just as well as this one.I like this rom, but I'm not a fan of running the umts version on my wifi-only xoom. any chance I could get a report of the 20120103 wifi version?
Maybe you should post in the thread for Xoom Wi-Fi?I like this rom, but I'm not a fan of running the umts version on my wifi-only xoom. any chance I could get a report of the 20120103 wifi version?
Can you describe the issue so we can know what is it?is the deep sleep issue after using 3g fixed in this rom?
after activating 3g once the tablet will not go to deep sleep. Also if you activate flight mode there is no deep sleep. So over night it needs 15-20% of battery instead of 3%.Can you describe the issue so we can know what is it?
Update your radio to N_01.100.07P then Xoom can go to deep sleep in normal mode but the issue still remained in airplane mode.after activating 3g once the tablet will not go to deep sleep. Also if you activate flight mode there is no deep sleep. So over night it needs 15-20% of battery instead of 3%.
