Man, I love this rom but lately my battery is literally dyingg!. I use greenify, turn off innecesary syncs, only use data or wifi. Listen to music. While listening to music, it drpped from 70% down to 60% in 15min. What is going on!!!

what kernel are you using? i get good battery life with plasma kenel, maybe give that a try or try undervolting.

Hello guys, what kernel you have with this rom? i use original Slimkat kernel but can you tell me what kernel is better? i never install kernel, i can install it via recovery and install from zip? And wipe data/cache... is need? thx
actually my kernel is: "3.0.80+ autobuild@slimautobuild 1 Sun Jan 5 17:37:07 CET 2014". About kernel I do not know anything maybe new kernel is unnecessary for me Mobile working perfectly and ROM too best ever ROM I've ever had

I am using devil latest kernel and his app to tune it a bit, I am getting 4 hours screen time, used to be 5.5 hours in samsung stock rom but i guess my battery is bad because of my charger, I didnt know that not disconecting my wall charger could damage it...hahaha I guess i will need to change it. Are you guys in the latest slim 4.3 rom? It is pretty good with no errors or FCs

Devil kernel is pretty good, I changed governor to luzactiveq, idle mode to afrt lpa, and I/O scheduler to noop for best batt life.

Slimbean is jelly bean based (android 4.3) while slimkat is kitkat (android 4.4). You have a link in the op for translation contribution, through crowdin. This is a user friendly cooperative translation system.

So this is Slim Bean 4.2.1 OFFICIAL release. This is a new base as we have started from a completely clean slate AOSP source and included most of our features within.
NEW BASE FULL WIPE RECOMMENDED!!!
By downloading this ROM, you accept the fact that you understand that your device will not magically have more RAM or CPU power
Also keep in mind that this is RC software features and performance will vary as we get closer to the stable releases.
BUG REPORTING?
- Grab a logcat right after the problem has occurred. (Please include at least a few pages of the log, not just the last few lines, unless you know what you're doing.)
- If it is a random reboot, grab /proc/last_kmsg. (Do not bother getting a logcat unless you can get it just before the reboot. A logcat after a reboot is useless)

- Smart control in Gallery, is a S4 inspired feature that is for fun and maybe some bragging rights amongst your friends!
- As you all know S/W HDR was all messed up... So we removed it for the time being. If you still need it badly, there is Play Store where everything is available
