HTC One Illusion Rom FAQs

How do I enable HALO?
Go into settings. Under Illusion System Settings, select interface. You will find Halo Options. Here you can turn on halo, and tweak the way Halo works.

Where is my Data toggle in the notification pane quick settings panel?
As of right now, the only way to toggle data is through the Data Usage menu in settings. A fix is being worked on for this. I believe the problem exists in quite a few ROMS for the One.

Why isn't my NFC working?
Don't worry, all you need to do is flash the file at the bottom of this post title NFC Fix. This fix was pointed out by @Pony Express.

How do I enable/Disable CRT animations?
CRT off animation can be toggled under Illusion System Settings>Display

How do I access Google Now?
On the HTC One, the HTC logo is NOT a button. However, in the Illusion ROM (and some other ones), the strip above the logo has been modded to work as a button. Long pressing that stip will give you instant access to Now

Are there any other Bugs I should be aware of?
Not sure if it is mac only, or whether this will occur on PC as well, but if you connect as MTP, mac does not recognize it. ADB and PTP work fine. It is only MTP where this issue occurs. At this point, I feel the issue is with Macs being unable to recognize the MTP protocol. I was able to work it on a PC.

It will be very close if not the same as performance and battery to most other aosp roms released around the same time. There is also a thread with little more feedback in the HTC One forum since they are basically the same except BuildProp for the most part.

Alright folks, here's another update... 4.3 is officially merged!! I just did the last part of it and caught with CyanogenMod as far as frameworks goes.

Of course there's loads of things to iron out, but the overwhelming part of merging 4.3 is now behind us!

I'm still not going to promise an ETA, but I will be doing what I can to get everything functioning the way it needs to be. Thanks peeps for remaining patient through a busy part of my life recently. There's quite a bit in store for 2.5. I may even release a alpha version of 2.5 so you guys can get your hands on a 4.3 build with all the cool nifty features and such :victory:.

So far this rom is running great on my htc one. Although one issue I have noticed is with the equalizer. When i first installed and started using google music and enabled the eq/audio effect it sounded fantastic. but I noticed today when I got to work that it doesnt seem to post process the audio anymore. disabling, force quitting music, then starting again and re-enabling the eq items seems to have no effect. The core audio still sounds goof (iv'e had issues with many roms where the audio was very scratchy and broken up after some use with the eq).

Is there any way to fix this?

Okay Guys got the 4.3 to boot up ,I know we are a little late to the party ...still...BTW no PA PIE and Hybrid for now...Next version Hybrid ...got halo and ribbons right now...and a new theme...its in alpha stage right now...

KeyLimePie theme will be hosted on Google Docs, along with a new theme called KeyLimePurple lol (i think).

Screencap of the page where you would change the HTC logo to be the menu button. It is greyed out. Anyone have an idea as to why? Is anyone else getting this? I've turned on root through the dev options and installed superuser and it's still doing it to me. -_-

I don't see the link on your site for the T Mobile version of the rom. Just the international, AT&T and Sprint version are up. Not the T-Mobile One(m7tmo).

Everyone I think m7tmo and m7att is compatible with m7ul ROMs at least that's what I know of till now! If I am wrong tell me I will build seperate builds and upload them
