If the play store is not included its to keep the peace with google. They have done a lot for us and doing what they ask is the least we can do. It was in there at one point but may be pulled. As for the gps I was not aware its broken. I'm not too familiar with this device I'm just trying to get this build straightened out for my girlfriend who has the phone. Do you know what the deal is with gps? Is there a fix available or a commit I can revert?
Here is what appears to be a fix. I don't know the commit that broke it, AFAIK it's been present since at least the beginning of June in all CM based roms. Right now, the latest GMaps seems to either not work at all, or use a 40m radius (possibly triangulating off cell towers).

Regarding the play store, I'm not savvy with Google's requests but noticed it's included in the Pacman rom. If you leave it out, that's fine, we install the gapps package anyway. Just noted it incase it was something that got forgotten.

About the DPI issue, standard for this device is 240 (Though I prefer mine at 180 :)

Great thanks! This rom is aosp based although we do take quite a bit from cm. Can anyone confirm the gps isn't working? Google doesn't want there proprietary apps packaged by any vendor or anyone that is not in there android vendor program (hence why Chinese phones don't have the google app store). I've been setting the dpi to 213 thats what I got off the wiki page Ill change it to 240 on the next build. Has anyone tried the latest one I put up? I would like to know if the .conf file I used get the job done.

I'll be right back after I flash your newest build and try a few different modems. GPS was definitely not working when I flashed last time. Booted up SlimBean and it worked again. It's the same issue that Pacman was having, Something got screwed up in the CM repos and now all their derivative roms don't work right.

EDIT: Gps still non-operational. System density and Apps density both need to be lowered to 240.

Great thanks again. I will look into the gps. What was the dpi set to after install?

300-something. 350 or 310 I think. It's in the hybrid settings menu, probably a variable initialization. If you can find where the dpi variables are stored you should be able to lower it. There are rumors that gps has been fixed in the latest cm nightly. If you could rebuild with latest sources we can test if that's true.

I thought I had where the dpi variables are stored. hmm has always worked on my nexus devices. Ill have to dig around a little more in the device tree. Ill try the latest cm source and see if we cant get that gps issue fixed up. Thanks for the feedback. :)

edit: I just installed on my girls phone and dpi is set to 240 out of the box. Seems I did have the correct variable.

So I think most everything other than gps has been resolved. Seems to be running stable my girl hasnt had a issue yet. Battery life could be improved but I havent had the time to look into that. We are in the process of merging 4.3 so my focus is there for the time being. Who knows it may even resolve the gps issue. Ill keep you posted and when we get 4.3 running and gps worked out I might make this device officially supported. Thanks to everyone who helped along the way.
