This is as smooth and stable a 4.3 rom can be.. Great job @HardCorePawn.. Thanks for continued support for n7000..
Edit: is it possible to set longpress events in slimpie.. The buttons setting screen shows "Longpress:None".. How can i set an action for it

No, I didn't. Stock slim kernel comes as kernel version 3.0.80, whereas stock CM comes as 3.0.64.
For me enough to test it thoroughly, not just one charging cycle. Battery life depends enormously of the usage pattern, so userspace.
Install better battery stats, wakelock detector and CPU spy (reborn) to identify the culprit for wakelock and the phone not entering deep sleep. But there are threads on xda which deal with those use cases.

Do you think that this build feels smoother than stock CM? I am considering a change when Slim Beta 4 is released

Yes (although I do not like those comparisons) it really feels very smooth. To me and for my usage pattern.

Thx mate, quick answer!! ;)

And does anyone know why android keyboard in slim rom package is 8mb only while inside slim AIO gapps there is a 30mb size, and in the same time slim minimal gapps do not override rom keyboard at all. What are the differences?

By long pressing the button, you can choose the action for "long pressing"

So apparently Beta 4 is out... OP has been fixed to point to correct download location, now that the n7000 is available on slimroms.net... Enjoy

@HardCorePawn were some of the changes in beta 4 already implemented in the unofficial beta 3 (August 30)?
Yes... Anything that had been merged to github prior to my build would have been included... It was effectively a "Beta 3.5" build...

Get a logcat... Otherwise we have no idea why it is FCing...

OMG. Can we stop the "it's not available" things. It will be ready when it's ready. Pretty sure that someone will post it... So long, hit F5

Galaxy S2 got its beta 4 build just 10min ago. And it was added to the devices list like our Note for this Beta 4.

Obviously. I never said it was uploaded. I said it was "fixed". And I clearly quoted the part saying that they are being uploaded now.
Sorry man, but saying "It's fixed now" right after "None of the builds were uploaded", means that you fixed the problem that they aren't uploaded, so they are uploaded now. I realize it is just a misunderstanding and I'll wait for the upload.

I'm also taking the opportunity to thank you for the release and the very good job you are doing.

What? I have nothing to do with fixing the problem, building the ROM, or uploading it. I just paraphrased what I read on SlimROM homepage.

Anyway, enough OT. I apologize if I caused any misunderstanding. Let's stop now :)

lets move on now, our note has been updated to beta 4 just downloaded and installing now!

---------- Post added at 11:17 PM ---------- Previous post was at 10:18 PM ----------

installed beta 4, all went smoothly, its got to be the smoothest 4.3 rom ive tried, all going well so far!
One little thing ive noticed i had to un-install trebuchet launcher and use Nova to keep staus bar and navbar transparent
otherwise transparency wouldnt work, and i hate black status bar!
