Recommended Installation Steps

Coming from another Custom ROM

1. Wipe Data/Factory Reset (This does not affect your Internal/External storage)
2. Wipe Cache
3. Wipe Dalvik Cache
4. Flash rom zip
5. Flash JB GAPPS
6. Reboot

NOTE :-> IF you are GSM user, then flash GSMPatch v2 from Flyhalf's CM10.2 thread.


How to upgrade crDroid versions:

1. Download rom update

Q1. Titanium Backup is not restoring apps.
A1. Set your backup dir for Titanium Backup as ::

storage/emulated/legacy/TitaniumBackup

After setting backup dir, System will prompt to move your backups from previous dir to new correct one.
Then proceed with restoring backups.

A2. Go to the developer options and make sure Root for Apps and ADB is checked and that should fix root issues.

Dang, another? This one I haven't even heard of, but it seems like I'll have to give it a shot. Did you mean to put this in Android Dev instead of Original? Downloading and will flash soon. Also thanks for using AFH instead of mediafire or whatever, I like to verify MD5's :good:

Its a really cool rom. Try it out, iam sure you guys will love it.
It has all features of CM and tons of others. It will take you guys quite sometime to figure out all the stuff :D
The amount of features the dev has put in is quite impressive given how smooth the rom functions :good:

Whoa, I totally forgot how huge our phone's default DPI is, haha. Goo.im is/was down so I flashed Slim minimal instead. Play store update for Google apps fails since the apks are modified, but so far everything seems to be working well, including the dark toggle. It definitely has quite the selection of features and settings. So far so good, but I'll keep playing playing with it and report back later.

This really does have some of the most extensive options I've seen with lots I haven't seen before. The only thing I didn't see was an option to choose the orientation for the CRT animation. So far running smooth with crpalmer's kernel on default performance options with the minor exception of app transition animations being a little laggy especially trying to go back to the home screen from the app drawer, and changing the scale in dev options doesn't seem to have an effect. Running well otherwise so far, and no SMS issues here either.

Crt anim orientation is not present.
I use nova launcher. Give it a try with recommended dev settings.
Iam running lwp and no sign of lagginess.

Turns out the lag going back to home screen is caused by assigning a double tap action to the home button- after I turned that back off it's as snappy as expected. I typically use nova as well, and once I installed that and changed kernel settings to recommended, app transitions appeared smooth again, at both your recommended settings and at the default 1x for all. Good work.

You might've noticed how much I like Slim, but this definitely just shot up into the running. Now that everything seems smooth, I'm gonna nandroid and try a few more today including your Slim 4.3

Someone in another thread asked what's the difference between both sub-forums, and another person suggested it should be separated by Sense-based ROMs and CM-based ROMs. It could be argued that has the Sense base ROMs are original since they are customized Sense roms while CM based ROMs are not really original because they are compilations of other's work (pie, hybrid settings, halo, etc.).

I consider "original" to be source-built or ported (CM and Sense 5) and "regular" to be based on stock (Viper, Rage, ext)

Worked good for me also. Issues I had were when I set the lockscreen shortcuts to empty then go back to the lock screen they would still show. Also for some reason when I would play Pandora it had 2 Pandora icons in the notification bar. One looked like cm created it some reason. Went back to another Rom for the time being but I may go back go try this again tomorrow.
