DEVELOPMENT DISCONTINUED, WHY??


Hello again guys,
since C-o-M has stopped updating CM10.2, and in the meanwhile; P4 guys are updating it and adding some great features to it,
I thought I should port it to our device to keep it up-to-date and to enjoy the amazing features

This is PORTED CM10.2/JB 4.3.1 ROM {from P4} with SGT7 Framework and Launcher enhancements.

And now there are new ports of cm11.0 (4.4.4) from Galaxy tab 10.1

SGT7 Features :

• Phone and Tablet UI (without losing quick toggles)
• HALO
• Customized Trebuchet
• Gesture (Edge swipe) navigation (can be used to quickly toggle the status bar with a single swipe)
• Power menu navigation controls
• Pie controls
• LCD density control (to change DPI)
• More customizable in general

What is working! :

• Wi-Fi
• Bluetooth
• GPS is incredibly fast
• Camera (rear and front)
• Sound and Recording
• USB Connection
• Sdcard
• Apps
• Torch
• KeyBoard
• Screenshots
• Everything else seems to be fine

Extra Notes :

• You tell me what bugs do you have:cyclops:
• If you want to be able to resize Halo windows, use THIS Xposed module
• For Gapps, you can grab them from Here

Need more!!:

Instructions :

• Copy the zip to your device
• Reboot into recovery
• Backup of your system (optional)
• Do a factory reset and format [/system & /data & /cache]
• Flash the Zip

Well, there were sgt7 builds at http://code.google.com/p/tab89-sgt7/downloads/list . Though SGT7 (Android 4.3) is not developed anymore, so there was no reason to make new build.
But it is always nice to have a thread with firmware discussions

Well yeah maybe, but last version in this list you mentioned dated in 2013-11-20,
this build I ported was in 2014-2-23, so it is newer, and I think that is better than a hidden list right!

if your talking about this ROM, it is already rooted,
and if you're talking about stock ROM, there are lots of guides to root the tab, THIS one is good
if you can edit your post and remove the entire quote from it, that would be great

Sorry I don't have the ROM installed on my tab anymore, so if you have tried Gapps and they are compatible,
please post a link for them, and I'll add it to OP

I think nether of them are ready for daily use, but CM10.2 is why better than KK4.4 Nameless or OMNI

Really, you should try them all and decide what works for you. In my experience, CM10.2 is quite solid, though, and is my daily driver. The kit kat ROMs are really cool. They are roughly as smooth and fast, though the battery life is not quite as good.

No,unfotunetly.I've switched to ICS stock cause i use 3G alot

I agree this is much better than Nameless or Omni. Been running this for few days now. Battery life is excellent.
I am using a gapps originally posted on the 10.2 cm thread that is the non neon version. No issues so far.

Also for for everyone who care about 3G in this ROM, I'll try to fix it soon
