Haven't tried it yet. Downloading now. I just checked the GitHub link to check what's different and I saw that you merged Halo. Why not make a feature list for the users in the first post? Will make things easier.
About the rom though, I'm sure that if it's anything like Halogen, I'll be loving it

I'm not sure. If cm by default doesn't have it then this rom doesn't have it. Currently it's just cm + halo. You could always use xposed framework to get transparent status bar though

Install the twrp recovery and then install this ROM. See if that fixes it.
