[ROM][4.3.1] Slimbean With Halo Unofficial build 2.0[10/24/2013][Houstonn's Adreno Kernel]

Here is an unofficial build of Slimbean with Halo. I take no credit in creating any of this. All I did was build it for the e970 from source. This is built using Slimbean source, dvhexer's device trees, and houstonn's adreno kernel and vendor files. This rom will be updated via ota updater

DPI is set to 280 by default. This is a Slimbean feature. If you don't like it, go to Interface>General>LCD density and change it to whatever you want. To obtain Root go to Developers Options>Root access and change it to Apps and ADB

Disclaimer: I take no responsibility for breaking your device. Flash at your own risk.

Installation
You have to have been on offical stock OTA 4.1.2 or LGNPST
Do a backup
Wipe: data/factory reset, wipe cache, wipe dalvik (optional- wipe system)
Flash Slimbean
Flash GApps here
wipe cache and dalvik again before rebooting system
reboot

Arcardinal answered some questions for me this is my first attempt at building from source the difference is this ROM uses Houston's kernel also I removed slim file manager as it is not working on our devices and replaced it with cm file manager I also added otaupdater so you can get updates over the air

Nice work. I'm currently using Arcardinal's build and as far as I can tell, the only difference is the kernel and slim/cm file manager correct?

Also, is the otaupdater an APK where we can use it on both builds? Or is it just for your build?

Keep it up.:highfive:

the kernel you are using of mine is my faux kernel and it's been updated..u can just track directly from my source if you or if you want to use my custom kernel you could do so too but you'll have to make a commit in the android_build repo to build with my kernel and if you want let me know i'll let you know which commit you'll need that I've already modified..

Truthfully I think this might just be my phone. Ever since ATT sent me a replacement LGOG, I've been getting "hot-reboots" randomly. 4.2.2 and 4.3 ROMs do it. I'll be doing somthing as simple as texting and my phone will blink to the Slimbean boot ani.
