After Asylum for Samsung Galaxy Note, Nexus 4 and Note 2, here comes the latest 4.3 AOKP iteration of this small, fast, blacked-out and smooth Rom for Oppo Find 5. This Asylum edition has only 143Mb - it's 44Mbs lighter than the official AOKP.

What does Asylum AOKP have to offer?


Built AOKP sources for additional optimization and smoothness
Unnecessary apps are chucked out, thus reducing the Rom size to 143 Mb only.
Settings, clock, phone, messaging, contacts, SystemUI and framework blacked out
Nova Launcher is default
Light Browser is default
Performance tweaks
Rom contains CrossBreeder for lag reduction
UI tweaks
Ad blocking hosts
Excellent battery life
Speed and smoothness
Addon.d scripts for backing up your custom DPI, N4 camera, custom carrier and restoring them even after a full wipe and flash

How often will the Rom be updated?

There'll be a new version as soon as there is at least 6-7 AOKP new merges, or if there's only one crucial change.
It could be daily, or every few days.

How do I flash it?


If coming from previous Asylum AOKP or official AOKP and you want to do a dirty install:

1. boot into recovery
2. flash the Rom
3. reboob

If coming from previous Asylum AOKP and you'd like a clean flash:

1. boot into recovery
2. do a full wife
3. flash the Rom
4. reboob

If coming from any other ROM:

1. Copy Gapps and Asylum AOKP Zips to your SDCard
2. Boot into Recovery
3. Wipe data and dalvik cache
3. Flash Asylum AOKP zip from SDCard
4. Flash Gapps zip from SDCard
7. Reboob
8. Don't restore system stuff or apps + data using Titanium, it might cause issues

Awesome. Many thanks for authors. Since Opposed find 5 released I must see this is the first Nice + Smooth + very better Battery life than other one. The UI with full black theme is Ultimate theme help save more power.

Thanks @bangsti .. For those few who don't know, bangsti provides fast FTP for asylum ROMs .. So you will have choice of downloading between primary and his FTP..

Bangsti FTP link posted in OP.. I have pulled down alternate Mediafire link, my main Dev-host link is available.. So now it would be main link or Bangsti FTP. Though I would like to thank Mediafire who served as main download provider for this version till now..

oppo find 5 mod files dualpane settings cm10.1


These modification files are made using universal theme Flasher . They only flash the resources.arsc so will be be good to use everyday until an update is needed.

They can set the dual pane settings on or off to single pane view...

ONLY FOR USE ON CM10.1 NOT AOKP !!!

Just flash without wipes after flashing and rebooting Asylum Rom...

All mood™ file backup/log files are disabled...

Files dated to build date to show the 1st date of Oppo Find 5 Asylum Rom in which they can be used...
